Still the best
Palace of Fine Arts - San Francisco
Hannibal has been my favorite comedian for years. I haven’t seen him do any new specials in a while, so I wasn’t sure what he was going to be bringing to the show. He did not disappoint . This was my 3rd time seeing him live and his delivery has changed, but only for the better. His observational humor and story telling is unmatched. I hope I can see him again.

Good warmup
The Wilbur - Boston
The overall show was great…Michael Che absolutely killed…the MIT Logarithms were great…Hannibal had a few funny bits and some video flashbacks to solid older material, but he laughed at his newer material more than the audience did…

Sad performance
The Wilbur - Boston
Hannibal appeared to have zero material prepared, threw up a couple of irrelevant videos, and basically walked around laughing at his own un-funny jokes the whole time. Thank God for Michael Che who saved his part of the show.

Fun experience
The Chicago Theatre - Chicago
I had good seats at a good reasonable price and the show was fun. There were some other great comdians also the rap show afterwards that Hannibal did after his comedy set. It was a nice fun time.

Very funny
The Chicago Theatre - Chicago
We thought the comedy part of the show was very funny!! The unexpected Rap part of the show was interesting. Hannibal’s band & hype man were fantastic!

Comedy only please
The Chicago Theatre - Chicago
The openers were solid, and Hannibal’s comedy was great. The music was way too loud and not enjoyable, and probably wouldn’t attend a show of his again if so much time was spent being subjected to his music.

Great comedy, music was forced
The Chicago Theatre - Chicago
Stand up comedy was hilarious as usual. 2nd half of his show was a transition to his rap which felt forced upon us. Music was not that good and everyone seemed confused, a lot of people left

Good Comedic Sets, pull back on the music
The Chicago Theatre - Chicago
The line up of openers were fantastic, Hannibal’s set was solid as to be expected. When he came out with music at the end of his set, at first it was exciting but then…it just kept going. Three songs would’ve been the sweet spot but at one point we were on song 6 and were ready to leave. Comedy A+, just wasn’t prepared for the musical encore
“If Steven Wright, Mos Def and Dave Chappelle had a baby, that would be disgusting, but it would sound like Hannibal Buress. The funniest young comic I’ve seen in years.” – Chris Rock
Chicago-bred New York-based stand-up comedian Hannibal Buress established himself as a master of “comedic jokes related to personal stories, current events, the streets, and even food” (yes, someone actually wrote and published that line) in ANIMAL FURNACE, his COMEDY CENTRAL original one-hour stand-up special that premiered May 20.
Hannibal Buress has appeared on LETTERMAN, FALLON, KIMMEL, FERGUSON, CONAN and numerous other late night TV shows. He has also made prime time appearances on LOUIE and 30 ROCK, and is the co-host of the Adult Swim series THE ERIC ANDRE SHOW.
Buress has previously worked on the writing staffs of 30 ROCK and SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, and released his debut album, MY NAME IS HANNIBAL, in 2010 on Stand Up! Records.
