    Life changing

by KellySKim on 7/15/16Warner Theatre - Washington, DC

Her Maximize Your Life tour was life changing for me. She's hilarious, involves the audience, thought provoking, motivational - the whole package. She sends you off with steps and tools you need to be a healthier, more successful you. My only gripe is that I purchased the VIP package which was supposed to include a Q&A session and meet & greet after the event. We got the Q&A, but not the meet & greet...and that's the thing I really had my heart set on. I saw her early in the tour (2013), before they made the meet & greet/photo opp a guaranteed part of the VIP package. Needless to say, I was a bit heart broken especially after seeing all the awesome fan photos with Jillian at the other shows for the rest of the tour. Felt jipped :(

    So much take-away!

    by RunnerGirl38 on 4/22/14Miller Auditorium - Kalamazoo

I have always watched Jillian on TBL and wondered if she was the real deal, so had to see for myself. Wow, was I blown away! She can kick your butt in one moment, be hilarious in another and then totally inspire you with a softer side that many people might not expect. Her message of maximizing your life is about appreciating who you are right now, living in the present, making better choices and knowing that you are absolutely capable of achieving the life of your dreams. This show was about SO much more than diet and fitness, although she definitely delivered on those topics as well. I learned actionable steps to implement immediately - 2 weeks of homework - and gained the tools to really envision and start creating my best future. Awesome!

10 pounds down two weeks later!

by Cuddles2013 on 4/6/14Community Arts Center - Williamsport

I have been trying to find the motivation to lose the 50 pounds that I gained while pregnant with my 2nd baby and this show helped me find the motivation that I needed. I think I can speak for everyone in the audience when I say I laughed, I cried and I learned more than I ever thought I could in 2-3 hours. It was incredibly entertaining and at times I found myself wondering if I was watching a stand up comedian or a health expert, she was THAT funny, who knew?! She also seemed incredibly genuine during the Q&A and would have answered questions all night had her people allowed it seemed. Janice joined jillian for this part of the show and it was even more hilarious. I laughed so hard I cried at one point, definitely one if the highlights of the show for me. I would recommend this show to anyone, jillian fan or not. And if you're not a fan now, by the end you will be I am certain. Thank you to Jillian for helping me figure out my WHY and motivating me to workout 6 times a week and get back to losing my baby weight. You are a true inspiration. 10 pounds down and 40 to go!

I left feeling motivated about my new journey!

by Lisa1981 on 4/6/14Community arts center - Williamsport

These tickets were a birthday gift and I thought, hmm interesting, a trainer/tv star doing a talk, what am I in for? Well let me tell you, this was the best birthday gift ever!! Great energy right from the start! Very informative which I expected but really really funny and entertaining. I was thinking about changing career paths and this gave me the kick in the pants I needed. I loved the question and answer part with Janice. I've listened to them together on the podcast before but their banter back and forth during the show is hilarious. Overall, loved the show, had a great time, left with some new Jillian clothing too as well as a new passion for life! Thanks Jillian for a birthday I won't forget!

    Very enthusiastic and engaging!

    by TXgirl555 on 4/5/14McFarlin Auditorium - Dallas

Jillian brings a great deal of enthusiasm! She is very funny and very REAL. Some of the things she talks about you will already know (and she acknowledges that) but she is very motivational and inspiring. Whether you need to lose weight or just be inspired.. she acts as a life coach! It was 2 hours long-- she has cut some of it out because she was running over 2.5 hours. Even my teenage son enjoyed it! Highly recommend.

    Jillian's Show is Incredible!

    by LadyLouise71 on 4/3/14Miller Auditorium - Kalamazoo

Wow - I saw Jillian in Kalamazoo last week and I can not stop thinking about it. She is funny, smart and really hits home with her message about "finding your WHY." She's a great story-teller and motivator. I have never left a live event feeling so ready to tackle the world! I highly recommend this show to women and men of all ages #and sizes!#. Thank you, Jillian!

    Enthusiastic and energetic!

    by Cujo56 on 5/19/13NAC - Ottawa

I loved the show and took away some great advice. Some things I already knew from having dieted before, but it was still good to have it as a refresher. Jillian has an ease of explaining things perfectly so it just makes sense. While she was going over much of the information I thought of a few my friends, who could have used it as well, and wished they had seized the opportunity to come see her speak. Yes the show was long, but I was engaged the whole show, trying to absorb as much info as possible. Those who have complained in these reviews about the show's duration would likely be also complaining if she only came out and talked for an hour. There is a lot of information that Jillian touches base on. Great info and great advice. I flew to Ottawa, just to go to this, and do not regret it. Thank you JM.

    Save Your Money

by Jadwyn on 5/9/13Murat Theatre - Indianapolis

Saw Jillian Michaels on Tuesday May 7th in Indianapolis. Show was very long (more than 2.5 hours) and very boring. She spent the bulk of the show talking about east less, move more, etc. What we wanted out of the show (insight into the Show, trends in fitness, tips on training) and what we got were very different. Doesn't appeal to me that she also has a 20 minute intermission to sell her DVDs in the lobby. We spent $175 to watch her and she comes out in flip flops, mom jeans and a yellow frumpy sweater? Waste of money, keep yours and go buy some other form of entertainment.

    Just So-So

by Gerbies on 5/5/13Bushnell - Hartford

I was really looking forward to Jillian Michael's tour. I was totally disappointed. Her show is divided into three sections: Science (food), Sweat, and Self. An intermission was offered after the first two sections. Science focused on nutrition and "poisons" added to everyday food. This section was interesting...in terms of what's in our food and how it's raised (e.g. GMOs, pesticides, antibiotics in cattle, etc.). She rushed through lists of foods to avoid or eat and referred the group to her website. The Sweat section was a waste of time; she just described the workouts she offers on the myriad of workout DVDs she's created. The Self section was far too long and a bit "psycho-babble" for someone who does not have an educated background in this topic. The show was very long...2 1/2 hours. I loved her energy and I loved learning more about food additives and why to buy organic. She shared personal stories, which was great. Overall, however, I would not see her again.
