    Better than expected

by freshfromthedeli on 11/15/12Wilbur Theatre - Boston

Jesse and Eric were both very funny and did their best to keep the audience entertained. I would've liked it a little more if Eric's "Fizbo" clown character made an appearance, but it was still enjoyable. The problem is that this was basically just a Q&A session with the crowd, with a musical number at the end. It was fun, but that's all there was. Also, the chairs were very uncomfortable. I doubt I'll be going back to the Wilbur ever again.

Thought this was going to be more of a comedy type show. This should have been advertised as a question and answer show or an intervie. Had no way of knowing this was imprompto and nothing planned.

    Great show

by Silmc on 10/25/12Wilbur Theatre - Boston

The show was great. However it would be better to know that the show is mostly interviews where the audience ask question to either Jesse or Eric and they answer to the questions.

    Modern Family Fans

by livetheater on 10/24/12Wilbur Theatre - Boston

The evening was a very entertaining mix of first hand accounts of the lives of two successful tv actors, playful banter and answers to audience-generated questions. It seemed completely spontaneous and light hearted making the audience feel like they were part of a conversation with these two personable Emmy nominated and for--at least one of them--Emmy winning stars.

    What an Awesome Experience!!!

by stacebabe on 10/24/12Wilbur Theatre - Boston

I honestly didn't know what this show was going to be like, but as a huge Modern Family fan, I didn't really care. It was so much fun, and so neat to just have the actors just do Q & A with the audience, and share behind the scenes stories of one of America's most popular shows.

    Not what I thought.

by Stephoma on 10/24/12Wilbur Theatre - Boston

Let's just start with this...these guys are funny! However, I didn't expect to have paid $100 to see a glorified interview by a local reporter. Grant it, they opened up the questions to the audience after, but it was not worth that kind of money. I don't know what I thought they were going to do since they aren't stand up or anything, but I think there should have been a price consideration for that type of event. And while I would recommend seeing these two WONDERFUL guys if you can, I didn't like that price or format.

I was actively engaged the entire time! I enjoyed every minute of it and the Jesse's birthday present at the end made my heart melt!

    Fairly unusual event

    by nbs525 on 10/24/12Wilbur Theatre - Boston

I was surprised that this event was not a regular stand-up comedy show. It started with a reporter sitting down with Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet to interview them in front of the audience. Then after a little while she left and they took questions from the audience instead. It was entertaining, but the format was very unusual and it should have been made more clear what the event was before I bought tickets to it.
