Itâs no wonder that âThe Woman You Love,â the first single from American R&B singer Ashantiâs 2014 album BraveHeart, begins with Busta Rhymes calling out, âAshanti! We miss you baby!â â in the five years since her last release, anticipation for the star's much-awaited return has reached fever pitch. At her 2013 live concerts, Ashanti demonstrated why she remains one of the top-selling female R&B artists of all time, wowing ticket buyers with her energy and friendly personality. Her soft, sweet voice has long been a favorite among R&B lovers for its subtlety and smoothness, and her new material is no exception â 2013's "I Got It," featuring Rick Ross, showcases more stellar vocals from the star.
Ashanti's vocal prowess first caught the attention of Murder Inc's Irv Gotti in the early 2000's, resulting in her appearance on Fat Joe's "What's Luv?" and Ja Rule's "Always On Time" in 2002. The success of those singles paved the way for her self-titled 2002 debut album, which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and earned her a Grammy for Best Contemporary R&B album. Her next three albums would all land in the Top 10, spawning hit singles like "Rock wit U (Awww Baby)" and firmly establishing her as one of R&B's biggest stars. Her fifth studio album BraveHeart was five years in the making, and if preview singles "Never Should Have" and "I Got It" are any indication, the album and accompanying tour were well worth the wait.

Had a good time and can't wait to go back again and enjoy myself
Everyone did really good. The show moved along well. 112 was fabulous!!
My seats were bomb. The atmosphere was amped. My section was pumped up. We were lit. Ashanti did her thing as did everyone else. I love everyone that performed and have been following their careers since I was a little girl. And to experience this was totally amazing. I can't wait until May 11th to see Mary J. Blige and everyone else. ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE R&B EXPERIENCE
For her to be pregnant and singing and dancing while hitting every note was amazing!!! It was my boyfriends first concert and he wants to see her again it was just that GOOOOOD đ
Getting-in was efficient and effective despite the large crowd. All staff that I encountered were very nice and helpful. Choices at concession stands were plentiful. Rest rooms were clean. Show was good! No complaints.
Amazing ! Ate ! Left no crumbs ! Spectacular ! She did that !
I had the opportunity to attend the much-anticipated Ashanti concert at the Barclays. As a long-time fan of her music, I was eagerly looking forward to a night of electrifying performances and unforgettable moments. However, what transpired left me feeling underwhelmed and unfulfilled. The evening started with promising energy as the crowd buzzed with excitement, eagerly waiting to see her perform however I thought her performance was lackluster. While she certainly preformed her hits, there was a notable absence of passion it almost felt as though she was just going through the motions, rather than genuinely connecting with us. While attending her concert was a memorable experience, it fell short of expectations and left me feeling unfulfilled and wishing for more.
I would have like to see different artist for the R&b experience concert. And I don't like the lighting because it hard to take pictures and a video too
The best concert so far. Ashanti put on a show and her friends came and showed out. Ashanti and Tamar did a wonderful job. A must see concert!!!!!
