I love Wendy but this show was disappointing. The DJ was playing music way too loud. There just wasn't enough time to share with Wendy. The comics were good but again you couldn't understand or hear their words distinctly enough. Other folks complaining of this show in the lobby and rest room. I'm being brutally honest in the hopes that this will improve remaining shows on the tour.
I adore Wendy Williams and her show was amazing and so funny! The Venue Paramount Theater was truly a disaster. 1 hour waiting for a drink at the bar and half the audience missed Wendy coming on stage! The bar manager even told us all waiting in line about 100 ppl to calm down. I hope Wendy chooses her venues wisely as this one was a bad reflection of her top notch brand. I go to tons of events Ticketmaster and I’ve never seen a concessions disaster like this one in my life. 5 stars for Wendy! -1 Star for Venue Concessions average combined = 3 stars
Pro: The employees of th venue are fabulous! Con: Venue was stingy with air conditioning! Even Comedian commented How stifling it was!
We went to the Wendy and friends show for date night, parking was a breeze and the check in orocess at the theatre was even easier. That means alot, if it's stressful gettingbin you can't enjoy the show. Wendy Williams was beautiful, youthful, and very personable. This wasn't your daytime talk show host, this was Nighttime Wendy, grown and sexy version. Her stories were so relevant and of recent happenings, it was more of her histing the four comedians she broght out which were all very funny. The DJ was on point, but Wendy told us this is her own playlist, the DJ is only playing what she's requested and she's talked about her love of rap music on her TV show-it was great! We loved the show, the audience was not your typical theatre crowd as people were up walking around and talking during the performance, phones were out the whole time and nobody got there on time, not at the beginning of the show and not coming back from intermission. Date night approved, Wendy is and always will be a friend in my head.
OMG! WENDY WAS THE BOMB! HER COMEDIANS-HER MUSIC-I OVER ENJOYED THE ENTIRE SHOW. I AM SO GRATEFUL TO HAVE BEEN ABLE TO ATTEND!!!!
Show was great. Good to see Wendy on the road. Comedians performed in the right order. They kept getting better. The only negative is the show started 30 mins late.
It was great. Wendy doing her thang, everyone was great.
Experience was grand. Easy parking, comfortable seats. It did get a bit warm in the venue at Paramount Theater in Oakland.
It was cool. Loved it. It definitely brought me back to real music.
Must Give Wendy and her team props for putting together an awesome lineup, and bringing a great mixtape to life. Haven't purchased a Mixtape in a while, long while, The Coliseum Mall was the place, however Wendy's show took me back, never knew what you were gonna get with a mixtape, but I always lucked up on classics, and future bangers. Wendy's show was filled with bth, btw Happy belated Bday.
