    Detroit Music Festival

by Juliefelicia on 4/20/17Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

When we purchased the tickets it was advertised that El Debarge would be performing. He was a no show. The comedian used a lot of profanity and inappropriate sexual references. Keith Sweat was terrible. He swore a lot kept bring on other people on stage and wasted a lot of time. He should have sung the entire time. That is what we paid for. 112 and KC and JoJo were pretty good. A very disappointing show. The Fox was beautiful.

The concert was great!. One of the best this year so far that I have been too. They did a fantastic job. I would go see them again.

Keith Sweat only gets better with age!

by Brandywineberry on 4/18/17Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

I was amazed at the performance. Excited that you brought this show because I was able to witness a R&B icon. The show had many performers. The only thing I had an issue with was it seemed that Keith Sweat was pulled away early. He didn't even let the crowd know that he was leaving but I blame it on the people who attend these concerts because they get up and leave early just so they can get out of there parking space. I honestly think he witnessed this and possibly thought it was disrespectful and didn't think twice to say goodnight to anyone. I honestly think that concert-goers should give respect if they expect to get a good performance. We pay for the concert and we pay for the performance so at least enjoy it and get your money's worth. This is like the second concert I've been to wear people from Detroit get up and leave early and make the audience look scarce. Overall the concert was good and I would recommend the Fox Theater for a comedic performance or play.
