Million dollar quartet
Sound Waves at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City - Atlantic City
It was not the show we paid for. It wasn't the Million dollar quartet but a show called under the sun and was the first show that they performed. We were very disappointed!

I Did Not Know What To Expect
Sound Waves at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City - Atlantic City
I tried looking up what this was all about. Could not find much. Did find out that this was the first night of the tour, but second show . Earlier show was at 4:00. I thought it was great ! Of course no original members since they were all dead. The 5 players were excellent. They all played their parts with flair. A change to a black shirt by guitar player and you knew it was going to be Johnny Cash, a pair of sun glasses and here comes Roy Orbison, etc. Sound was great. The crowd was small and dead. I guess only older folk would know these Sun Records artists. I (66) and the person sitting next to me seemed like the only ones with energy. Also ( all songs in that 3 minute range ) the show was short. 1 hour 20 minutes. I guess they wanted that gambling time. All Good !

Entertaining
Sound Waves at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City - Atlantic City
It’s ok, but not very special. Entertaining and with the small conversations in between the songs you pick up some of Sun Record’s history. The musicians play well, with the piano player the most passionate, expressive voice and performance. I think they can interact a bit more with the audience. I understood that Atlantic City was the first of the series so I hope that they loosen up a bit and make it a more lively show.

Disappointed with reservation
Adler Theatre - Davenport
When I booked the reservation, I asked for 2 seats on main floor. I was told they didn’t have any but could give me 2 seats in the first balcony. My seats were actually in the second balcony. There were seats on main floor. I will now in the future book with the Adler and not Ticketmaster.

Excellent Show
Adler Theatre - Davenport
The Christmas version of Million Dollar Quartet was just as wonderful and well worth going to see. The casting was amazing, especially Jerry Lee Lewis.

It was good, not great
Adler Theatre - Davenport
The show was good, but not great. I loved Million Dollar Quarter (the original) and this just fell a bit below expectations.

Wonderful show!

The actors/performers are so talented! They have great voices so similar to the original artists they portray. Excellent performance playing instruments too. We will see the show again!!

Great show!
Adler Theatre - Davenport
Are you ready for some Christmas music NOT sung by a current pop star? We had the pleasure of attending Million Dollar Quartet Christmas at the Adler on Sunday. This is a great musical with hit after hit by four of the biggest stars ever - Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and ELVIS! The older folks near us swore the voices sounded exactly like the real quartet. If the show is coming to your town, you should check it out. If not, the soundtrack is available on Amazon, Spotify, etc. 🎶 “It’s Christmas time pretty baby,….Santa Claus is Back in Town…” 🎶
