Entertaining; different
Auditorium Theatre - Chicago
Enjoyed the dancing of Eisenhower Dance of Detroit. Our seats were close, but near some steps- by the orchestra pit. Wondered if they could have lowered them. I don't think I read there would be the obstruction when I bought tickets; it wasn't too bad, though. One guy dancer in particular was excellent. He mastered the moves of modern dance, but then was very expressive at the Motown sound. Some of the dancers were very strong in the Modern dance form, which looked a bit wierd at times with the Motown sound.

Motown in motion
Auditorium Theatre - Chicago
The first half started as many ballets does except for the love scene. I fell in love with them. The second half was energetic, exciting, very creative. Dancing to the sounds of such motown music greats as Jr Walker, The Miracles, and Michael Jackson. To add icing on the cake was an additional 40+ young dancers from 8 to 18 danced their way into our hearts, captivating the audience from their seats, the isles and the stage. What a delight to witness.
