Cheyenne Jackson was born and raised in Washington state, where he and his siblings were taught to sing by their mother. After moving to Seattle he discovered his love of the theater, and in 2001 he relocated to New York to pursue his Broadway dreams. After landing several understudy roles, he scored his first leading role on Broadway in the musical All Shook Up. His performances received rave reviews, establishing him as a breakout start and earning him a Theatre World Award for "Outstanding Broadway Debut". Jackson made his nightclub debut in 2009, teaming up with Great American Songbook veteran Michael Feinstein to create the musical show "The Power of Two". An album of the show was released in late 2009 to a Top 20 spot on the US Jazz chart, and in 2010 the pair performed a reprisal of the album to a sold-out crowd at Carnegie Hall. In 2013 Jackson released his first non-theatrical album I'm Blue, Skies, scoring a Top 40 hit on the Adult Contemporary chart with the single "Before You". A seasoned performer with a sparkling stage presence, Jackson continues to entertain with encore-worthy performances on tour.
