Martha Clara Vineyards - Riverhead

This event was incredible. Nile Rodgers was simply amazing. Top-notch performances, real NYC style. I felt very fortunate that such talent was will to traveling out to the North Fork. Not an overly well attended event (only about 3,000 versus the 10,000 anticipated). That being said, this was on a Tuesday night and not convenient for many of my NYC friends. Nile mentioned that he is working on hosting this next year over a weekend instead. I think that is key. Martha Clara is a gorgeous venue and great place to host such an event. So worth it.

Great concert & venue but very poor planning

There seemed to be a lot more catering to concert-goers from NYC, but not so much for those from Long Island. My friends and I certainly appreciated the special LIRR train added for the Fold Festival, but there was no shuttle to take us from the station to the vineyard, as advertised. Therefore, we had to pay for a taxi to get us there. The concert itself was amazing and the setting at the vineyard was breathtaking. Unfortunately, after the concert was over, there was no special train to take us back to our station. We had to pay $100 for a cab ride from Riverhead, NY to our station. The whole commute to and from the concert was awful. My advice to the planners; next year add extra trains for before **and** after the concert. Also, please provide more shuttles. Otherwise I will not pay $150 for a ticket when I don't have a feasible way to get there.

Fold festival rocked!!!!!!! Nile Rodgers put a great list is Artist together, his Band was incredible. His Singers were impressive. Kieth Urban was Awesome. Beck Rocked big time. Pharrell was short but terrific. Three day weekend festival next year, I will be buying ticket as soon as they go on sale

Unacceptable for one of the main acts to play for less than 10 mins. Urban only played for 40mins most of it was guitar, didn't even play his new song. It was especially great listenting to a dj for extended periods of time, leaving beck 25 mins to play. Who knows, I left after 10:30 and he still didn't go on. Absolutely no accommodations for handicapped people. Also they should have separated the blanket crowd from the standing crowd. Lots of drunk rude people and security did nothing about it. I was next to them and they were clearly harassing and pushing an older woman. This sounded like a great idea, but I would not go back.

The event was amazing. It wasn't hard to find a good spot to enjoy it from. The performances were awesome!! Nile Rogers and Chic are still amazing to see. I will definitely try to go again if the tickets aren't so expensive.
