About

STARRING ALI MACGRAW AND RYAN O’NEAL

Andrew Makepeace Ladd III wrote his first letter to Melissa Gardner to tell her she looked like a lost princess. They were both seven years old. For the next fifty years, through personal triumphs and despair, through wars and marriages and children and careers, they poured out the secrets of their hearts to each other. They defied a fate that schemed to keep them apart, and lived – through letters – for the one most meaningful thing, their undying love for each other.

Directed by Gregory Mosher and written by celebrated playwright A.R. Gurney. Don’t miss this enduring romance about first loves and second chances.

Great local theater, Amazing local talent!

by Europeanmama on 2/24/22Jamison Theater - Franklin

I feel very blessed to live in an area which can provide local entertainment of this caliber. It’s extremely uncommon to find “small town” atmosphere paired with Broadway quality shows. Thank you to StudioTenn, Kathie Lee Gifford, and Patrick Cassidy for providing an emotional, heart-rendering performance of such incredible talent.

We thoroughly enjoyed this. Sally Struthers and Conrad John Schuck were fantastic. You could imagine and see their whole life together in these letters. We encourage everyone to go see this.

    LOVED - LOVE LETTERS

by ETC on 2/6/20Scranton Cultural Center - Scranton

What an enjoyable evening!!!! Only two of the best could have pulled off this simple exceptional performance. The stage was set up with a table and two comfortable looking chairs. Barbara Eden and Barry Boswick captivated the us with exchanging letters of two long lost lovers. They were able to make the audience laugh and cry.

    disappointed

by dj on 2/4/20Scranton Cultural Center - Scranton

Had I known the actors were just going to read on stage, I would not have paid that price. it was like going to the public library and sitting through someone reading a story to me. No scenery, no action. Not worth it.
