About

"‘Chicago' still GLITTERS HYPNOTICALLY." - Ben Brantley, The New York Times

There's never been a better time to experience CHICAGO, Broadway's razzle-dazzle smash. This triumphant hit musical is the recipient of six Tony Awards®, two Olivier Awards, a Grammy® and thousands of standing ovations. A sensational tale of sin, corruption and all that jazz, it's no surprise that CHICAGO has wowed audiences from Mexico City to Moscow, from Sao Paulo to South Africa. And now it's coming to your town!

If you're looking for your first Broadway musical CHICAGO has everything you could want: knockout dancing, an edge-of-your-seat story and one showstopper after another. If you loved the Academy Award®-winning film, nothing beats the live show, and if you are already intimately acquainted with the musical, experience that sizzle again, CHICAGO always delivers.

Hilarious, Fun, and Wonderful from curtain to close!

by thatnewtheatreguy on 4/23/24Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los Angeles

This was the first show this year (2024) that I saw for a second time! Everything about this show was just perfect! The performances, the production, the timings, the costumery, everything! I knew little about this show going in, but after learning what the premise was, I thought that it was comedy gold waiting to be experienced and low-and-behold! No regrets whatsoever attending my first time, was extremely ecstatic to have landed a great seat for my second show! Despite knowing how the plot unfolds, the actors still had me in stitches on my second attendance, their comic timings and deliveries are impeccable! I was blessed to have met them after my second showing, and they were all as wonderful off-stage as they were on! Truly wish I could have experienced this show more times and with company, but I loved being there to experience this wildly hilarious and daring show on my own; at no point did I ever feel alone, and at times during the show, since I was able to relate to certain ideas and behaviors attributed to some of the characters, I even felt I was among old friends, especially the second time around. Highly recommend for anyone who loves the theatre, but also a great first show for anyone who has yet to experience the elegant magic of the stage and the unparalleled talents that grace them!

1st time viewer and an excellent experience!

by Josh on 4/1/24Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los Angeles

Don't get lost in the Razzle Dazzle. The meaning and concept of this story is unmatched. Definitely a must see for anyone looking for depth in today's shallow world.

    Read details before purchasing tix

by Norma C. on 4/1/24Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los Angeles

Unfortunately, this was not the original CHICAGO musical that I have seen many times in the past. This was a poor "rendition". Minimal to no scenery changes. Hardly any choreography. The singing was unimpressive. Very, very disappointed. Definitely NOT worth the money spent on my tickets. Unfortunately & definitely not deserving of a standing ovation. I recommend you read the descriptions carefully before purchasing tickets.

I was smiling the entire show.

by Fire broad on 3/28/24Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los Angeles

One of the best theatrical performances that we’ve seen at the Pantages! I was either laughing or smiling through the entire performance. The actress playing Velma was our favorite. The whole cast was great. The energy never wavered, amazing dancers and voices.

    Rude Audience

by vimgraw on 3/26/24Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los Angeles

The show was good, kind of strange that there literally was no set just the orchestra on stage. The audience was terrible. People go to the theater like they are going to the movies now. Dressed barely better than pajamas and constantly getting up. (Actually people get up less at the movies) Most of audience ran out the door during curtain call! So rude to the performers.
