Wow these two singers & dancers and band is amazing, what talent, what enthusiasm, wow!
We basically just watch a movie (not a great picture) not at all what we expected for $200… not worth it at all.
This was just a badly spliced cut of the movie with a band and singers performing. Performers were good though. Too much money for what you got.
This wasn’t what I expected, I did make the best of it but felt there could have been much more of a theatre experience, play type show or at least the band be more involved
I have loved the movie Dirty Dancing for years, so when the opportunity presented itself to see the Stage version, I had to jump on it (especially being on my Birthday weekend). The production was amazing. Many story lines are added to the stage version to give it more substance for the stage. The musical numbers were spot on. The finale gave me chills. I'm so glad I was able to catch this show!
A very good show at Ceasers AC acoustics were great, the show was a little slow, but they tried to follow the movie script.. The dancing and singers were Broadway great. Overall, a very good performance.
Best show I've seen in a long time. Such a talented cast. A must see.
This stage production based on the movie is fantastic. The actors/singers/dancers were excellent on all scores. Their moves were sure, their voices steady. It was one of those rare shows that brings back happy memories while at the same time enchanting the watcher all over again. Only down side: I kept missing Patrick Swayze. It's a show that's worth seeing and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good musical or who loved the movie.
It is good. It follows the movie script almost exactly, but there are some added sub-stories. They could be cut scenes from the movie for all I know. And I would agree with the movie director. They don't add much and probably distract from the main story. Actress playing Baby nailed it. Actor playing Johnny looked the part, but didn't quite pull off Swayze. That is a tall order I guess. Not that Swayze was a great actor or anything, but he just had this way about him. Its as entertaining as the movie and maybe more. I overheard someone after the show say that they need to go watch the movie now. Maybe its just the fact that its in Caesars, but we seemed to be the only couple under 50. And because of the casinos, parking was cheap. Drinks were not. This was a birthday gift for my wife. She is a big fan of the movie and she loved it.
