Cabaret at Signature Theater
Signature Theatre - Arlington
Performance was outstanding. Ranks up there with Jersey Boys and Mama Mia Seats were excellent, actors and chorus were perfect for their roles The MC and Sally Bowles were splendid I was sorry when the performance ended and I would see it again with the same cast My wife thought the bartenders were great

Life is beautiful in "Cabaret"
Signature Theatre - Arlington
All the performances of this cast were exceptional. So much talent ! The choreography was breath taking as performed by the Kit Kat ensemble. Matthew Gardiner did an outstanding job with both the direction and choreography. And Barrett Wilbert Weed and Wesley Taylor were off -the -charts talented in their performances and really gave their all.

Hope you haven't missed this great show!

Loved it! Actors were fabulous, and I was excited to see Wesley Taylor from Smash. But the girl who played Sally Bowles stole the show. I imagine great things in her future.

When less is more
Signature Theatre - Arlington
The supporting cast in this production inhabited their characters and performed with compelling nuance and restraint. They were totally believable and moving, especially Herr Schultz. The leads should have taken a lesson from them and dialed it back several notches. Sally Bowles appeared determined to channel Ethel Merman, shouting and screeching her way through the end of Cabaret - turning it into an angry anthem. The MC's over-the-top approach made him appear as a cross between Billie Joe Armstrong and the boys in Mad Max: Thunderdome. Much more punk than 30s decadence. Kudos to the set designer who placed tables around the stage and brought the audience literally into the Cabaret. it worked very well, terrifyingly so when the uniform-clad soldiers walked through staring patrons in the eye as though sizing them up for transport to a camp. One could not help thinking of Charleston at the end of the first act when the cast performed "Tomorrow belongs to Me" and the Nazi banners unfurled. An extremely powerful moment.

Great performance, absolutely fantastic!
Signature Theatre - Arlington
I almost went back to see this show a second time! Absolutely loved it. The costumes were great, the sets and lighting were too....I really enjoyed this show. Cast, orchestra, and crew were wonderful. I somehow missed the cigarette warning when i bought my ticket, but I'm familiar with the show so I knew it was a possibility. I wish I had asked to see if the cast members meet the audience after the show in the lobby. Would have been the cherry on top of an awesome night! :)

Come to the Cabaret
Signature Theatre - Arlington
Singers were great..amazing voices! The costumes were just as good as the NYC production of Cabaret. Signature Theater staged this just right. Cabaret ranks among my top favorites and this presentation was delightful.
