Tender Napalm: Oxymoron or Just Moronic
Signature Theatre - Arlington
The acting was wonderful, but nevertheless this is the worst play that I've seen in 50 years. It was incomprehensible, repetitive, and boring. Without consulting the playbill, I could not tell you what it was about, and even then it was a challenge. I was aniticipating a somewhat erotic atmosphere, but unless you find crude language tittilating, you won't think this play is remotely sexy. I don't know what the managers of the theater were thinking when they agreed to host this play, or who they thought would find it entertaining, but you can be sure that I will be less willing to rely on their judgment in the future. For what it's worth, my guest found this play equally unlikeable. Save your money and avoid this play the next time it appears in town or elsewhere.

Tender Napalm Signature Theatre
Signature Theatre - Arlington
I enjoyed the production very much! I travel for my job and like to take in local theatre when I can. My only regret is that I ordered the 100.00 ticket rather than the 50.00 ticket. The venue is so small that it doesn't make a bit of difference. Wish I had known.

Tender Napalmm one of the most outstanding plays
Signature Theatre - Arlington
We love the theater and live performances. Tender Napalm was one of the performances and plays that will stay with us for a long time. The acting was superb. The writing was outstanding. Be warned there is some strong language and imagery, but do not leave - it is well worth it to stay to the end and enjoy the story as the writer ingeniously ties all the pieces together. What a story! It is one that I would actually see again.

Tender Napalm -- You'll either Love it or Hate it
Signature Theatre - Arlington
This production is not for the faint of heart - the language was raw and so were the emotions. Although the play had only two charactors -- "Man" and "Woman" -- with no scenery, it kept me rivited for the 1.5 hours. The was no real story - just very good actors describing their inter-personal relationship and points of view.

Wonderful

Fantastic, poetic, magical script. Wonderful acting. Can't say more without giving away the plot, but bring tissues; it made me cry. Cathartic.
