Powerful show in a perfect venue!

    by tsofan96 on 11/16/16Shea's 710 Theatre - Buffalo

First time at Shea's 710. Will be sure to return. Caught the very last performance of Mrs. Warren's Profession. The cast was suburb, the show's concept was unique and fully realized. Well worth the cost and the commute from Rochester.

    Shaw Tackles a Tough one!

    by KK1950 on 11/16/16Shea's 710 Theatre - Buffalo

Wonderful set and costumes, well cast, terrific acting and a story as old as time. My 14 year old granddaughter accompanied me and she loved the production... certainly made for stimulating dinner conversation!

    Great cast, great production

by Johnmeli on 11/15/16Shea's 710 Theatre - Buffalo

This was a wonderful Shaw production. The acting was great, the stage was nicely designed. There were some nice touches of humor that the cast fought out. The play itself, despite its age, has obvious contemporary themes about a woman's ability and right to decide her life. There are some weak points to the play, which the production handled very well. The drama between mother and daughter is there, i wondered why the daughter gets worked up about a mother who has, for various reasons, kept her at a distance for twenty four years. Well worth seeing.

    Great Shaw Great show

by GrannieK on 11/9/16Shea's 710 Theatre - Buffalo

How wonderful it was to see good theater in the old Studio Arena. The place has not lost its charm, and the play was so well done. It was a little off-putting to have to have the actors explain the venues for the scenes, but understandable considering the relatively short run of the play. Acting was terrific and the play never loses its punch. A great afternoon of theater. May the association with the Shaw Festival continue and prosper.

    Great Acting!!

by Buffalojski on 11/8/16Shea's 710 Theatre - Buffalo

Talented actors made this play easy to watch. Shaw's questions on woman's roles in society still resonate today.
