Uplifting
Meridian Hall - Toronto
The colour, the choreography and the range of emotion was particularly special at this time of year.

Fabulous evening
Meridian Hall - Toronto
The dancers were amazing, choreography fabulous and music so beautifully done. Vocalists sounded so good. Very retro which took me right back to the 60’s. Thank you for a wonderful evening out. My neighbour was at the same event and thoroughly enjoyed it also.

Great venue, ok show
Sandler Center For The Performing Arts - Virginia Beach
The Sandler Center is a great venue for a show. The Mark Morris dance troupe’s interpretation of Burt Bacharach music was entertaining enough if not overwhelming.

Change in Venue
Stevie Eller Dance Theatre - Tucson
Parked the car at U of A parking garage, got a bite to eat and a few drinks. Walked to Centennial Hall about 30 minutes before the start of the show. When we got to Centennial Hall found a note on the door the venue had change to a different location about 1/2 mile away. Decided to walk the 1/2 mile totally ruined the night, was pissed off, they did send out an email telling about the change that but it should have been sent out earlier.

Skilled whimsy
Stevie Eller Dance Theatre - Tucson
This was my first live dance performance in a very long time. Every minute was worth the wait. The exceptionally skilled dancers made deceptively clean and whimsical choreography a treat. I was amazed by the syncronization of the dancers throughout the performance - to the level that their head movements were in synch! If the Mark Morris Dance Group returns to Tucson I will be one of the first in line to see them again.

Guaranteed to Raise a Smile
Stevie Eller Dance Theatre - Tucson
I have attended ballet and other dance performances all my life, in part because I am clumsy myself. I loved this performance for many reasons. The dancers gave 100%. The choreography reflects Morris's aesthetic genius, his sense of humor, and his embrace of the LGBTQ universe. He's almost as old as I am--how does he keep coming up with dance steps that make me laugh out loud? The band itself was terrific. But I was particularly thrilled at the audience response. I was lucky enough to get a phone call 2 days earlier about the move from Centennial Hall to Eller Theatre, but many did not get sufficient notice and at the last minute had to troop across campus (or drive if they were not very mobile). Everyone shook off their irritation during the performance. At the end the audience stood up and clapped, but also whooped and cheered and some did some dancing themselves. It's been a long couple of years, and there is nothing like being there.

Wacky Fun Performance
Stevie Eller Dance Theatre - Tucson
What a novelty! Beatles songs were arranged in new tempos and instrumentation which paired perfectly with the fun and wacky dancing and costumes. Never a dull moment in 75 minutes of straight entertainment. The singer's (announcer's) voice was amazing! The dancers expressions and movements were spot on. It was an original, humorous and thought provoking experience and I think I was smiling through the entirety of the performance. If it is near your town - do not miss it!

Loved it!
DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham
The musicians and dancers were superb. It is not often I get a chance to see a collaboration like Mark Morris and Ethan Iverson in Durham. I wanted to live in the time warp world of Pepperland. ADF rocks!
