Miss Nelson is Missing
Aventura Arts & Cultural Center - Aventura
I attended the show because I knew one of the performers, Alexandra Schwartz. Most likely I was the only adult in the theatre without a child/grandchild. I thought it was a wonderful story,{ I had not been familiar with it}} nd waspositively surprised at the acting. It was as professional as any first run show. I would recommend anyone with school age children or grandchildren to take them to see it.

Something was missing . . .
Montalvo - Saratoga
My kids LOVE this book! And they liked the play, but thought "the book was better . . ." - one part they thought would have been fun to see is the part when the kids are imagining what happened to Miss Nelson. Instead of just talking about it, it would have been fun to see the actors act out what could have possibly happened to her . . . get eaten by a shark, etc. The acting was good. The singing was good. I would recommend this play to about 7 year olds and younger.
