Directions:

From Downtown Minneapolis:
Cross the Mississippi River on the South 3rd Avenue bridge (near the main Post Office) out of downtown Minneapolis heading North. As you cross the river, 3rd Avenue becomes Central Avenue NE. Turn right off of Central onto SE University Avenue. Follow SE University Avenue over 35W North into Dinkytown near the University of Minnesota. Turn left onto SE 14th Avenue, at the end of the block take a left onto SE 4th Street. The Varsity is on the left.

From Uptown and South Minneapolis:
Take I-94 East towards I-35W. Take the I-35W North exit, number 233C, on the left. Merge onto I-35W North. Take the University Avenue exit, exit number 18, towards 4th Street SE. Keep right at the fork in the ramp. Merge onto SE University Avenue. Follow SE University Avenue into Dinkytown near the University of Minnesota. Turn left onto SE 14th Avenue, at the end of the block take a left onto SE 4th Street. The Varsity is on the left.

From Southern Suburbs/South Minneapolis:
Take 35W North to the University Avenue exit, exit number 18, towards 4th Street SE. Keep right at the fork in the ramp. Merge onto SE Univeristy Avenue. Follow SE University Avenue into Dinkytown near the University of Minnesota. Turn left onto SE 14th Avenue, at the end of the block take a left onto SE 4th Street. The Varsity is on the left.

From Western Suburbs/West Minneapolis:
Take I-94 East towards I-35W. Take the I-35W N exit, exit number 233C, on the left. Merge onto I-35W North. Take the University Avenue exit, number 18, towards 4th Street SE. Take I-94 West towards Minneapolis. Take the Huron Boulevard exit, exit number 234B. Merge onto Huron Boulevard SE. Huron Boulevard SE becomes SE 4th Street. Follow SE 4th Street into Dinkytown near the University of Minnesota. Turn left onto SE 14th Avenue, at the end of the block take a left onto SE 4th Street. The Varsity is on the left.

From North Suburbs/North Minneapolis:
Take I-35W South toward Minneapolis. Take the 4th Street SE exit, exit number 18, towards University Avenue. Merge onto the I-35W West Frontage Road and travel one block. Turn left onto SE University Avenue. Follow SE University Avenue into Dinkytown near the University of Minnesota. Turn left onto SE 14th Avenue, at the end of the block take a left onto SE 4th Street. The Varsity is on the left.

Valet parking available for a fee.
Metered parking on the streets, with average hourly rate of $1.25.
Parking lots located a block east of the Varsity Theater, along 5th Street between 13th Avenue and 16th Avenue.

The Varsity Theater box office is only open day of show, two hours prior to showtime.
Advance tickets are available at The Loring Pasta Bar. The Loring Pasta Bar is open 9:00 am to 2:00 am daily.

The box office accepts cash only.

Will call will be available one hour prior to showtime. The customer must present a valid photo ID, the actual credit card used to place the order, and the Ticketmaster order number.

No outside food or drink, no cameras or recorders of any kind.

The Cafe des Artistes has a full bar and sells coffee, quiche, pizza, salads, sandwiches, soups, breads, pastries, caramel rolls, and gourmet desserts.
