East on Rio Bravo to University Blvd
South on University Blvd approximately 1.5 miles and you will turn right to the entrance of Journal Pavilion.

West on Rio Bravo to Broadway.
South on Broadway to Bobby Foster Road.
East on Bobby Foster, right turn at “T” in the road for 3 miles and you will turn left to the entrance of Journal Pavilion.

Parking:

For most shows, general parking is included in the price of your ticket. The parking lots typically open 2 hours prior to the stated show time.

Journal Pavilion is now offering Premier Parking for all events. Premier Parking allows you to park closer & exit using the VIP exit road. Buy your Premier Parking pass in advance or the night of the show.

YOUR PREMIER PARKING SPACE WILL BE HELD FOR YOU UP UNTIL THE START OF THE SHOW. YOUR SPACE WILL BE CLOSE TO THE FRONT NO MATTER WHAT TIME YOU GET TO THE PAVILION PRIOR TO SHOW TIME. PREMIER PARKING SPACES ARE HELD UNTIL THE ADVERTISED SHOW TIME & CANNOT BE GUARANTEED IF YOU ARRIVE AFTER THE EVENT STARTS.

Accessible Seating:

Accessible seating is available at every price level. Patrons should specify their need for accessible seating at the time they purchase tickets. What to Bring / What Not to Bring

We want you to bring everything you need to make your visit to Journal Pavilion the best. The items below may vary from show to show, but this listing can be useful as a general guide. If a certain item (listed or unlisted) is essential to your concert enjoyment, please call our administrative offices at (505) 452-5100 on the show day for specific information on the show you plan to attend. Our list of items to bring or not bring are designed to be fair to everyone & meet a combination of safety goals including providing smooth access into the venue when we have large crowds. Our goal as your host is to provide an atmosphere that allows for the maximum enjoyment of the entire audience & we apologize in advance if some restrictions may cause you any inconvenience.

What to bring:

* Binoculars

* Ponchos or Rain Jackets
* Umbrellas (small please)
* Water: One sealed bottle of water allowed per patron. Please limit approx 1.5 liter (50 ounce) bottles.
* Snacks, Sandwiches & other Picnic Foods are allowed through the gates (please package in a clear one gallon plastic bag, please no coolers or picnic baskets).
* Lawn chairs with seats lower than nine (9) inches off the ground.
* Strollers. Please note that strollers are welcome through the gates & on the lawn but cannot be taken into the reserved seating area. Fans may check them at the Guest Service Booth located in the North Plaza.
* Sunscreen
* With safety as a primary goal, you may be subject to search at certain events. If for any reason you should arrive at the gates with a restricted item, our front gate guest service staff will offer to check most items to save you from returning to your car. Journal Pavilion reserves the right to refuse admission. Certain shows may occasionally restrict umbrellas, blankets & binoculars.

What not to bring:

* Cameras (some performers do allow disposable cameras, call (505) 452-5100 on the day of your event to check specific policy).
* Coolers
* Illegal drugs
* Laser Pointers
* Lawn Chairs with seats higher than nine (9) inches off the ground.

* Recorders (audio or video)
* Weapons

Children Rules:

CHILDREN 2 & UNDER CAN COME IN FREE WITHOUT A TICKET AND SIT ON AN ADULTS LAP.

Miscellaneous:

Beer, wine, and well along with a full concession menu are available on site.

Most shows feature plaza entertainment prior to the main performance for those who come early.

For most shows, the following items are allowed: blankets, binoculars, non-flash disposable cameras, and one factory-sealed water bottle per person.

Low profile lawn chair rentals are available for lawn seating.

FOR YOUR PROTECTION, the following items will not be allowed: BACKPACKS, SPORT BAGS, CANS, BOTTLES, COOLERS, HORNS, MACE, LASER POINTERS, AND WEAPONS OF ANY KIND. NO ANIMALS EXCEPT SEEING EYE & HEARING EAR DOGS.

PATRONS ARE SUBJECT TO INSPECTION OF PERSON, PARCELS, OR CLOTHING CAPABLE OF CARRYING SUCH ITEMS. THE VENUE RECOMMENDS THAT YOU ARRIVE AT LEAST 1 1/2 HOURS BEFORE SHOW TIME TO AVOID LINES TO GET IN.
