Parking
Shea Stadium Lots.Construction of Citi Field continues in the main parking lot (Lot B) of Shea Stadium (between the scoreboard and 126th Street). The construction work in the interim will significantly reduce the number of spaces in affecting parking and traffic patterns around Shea Stadium.
With limited parking, it is suggested to take mass transit to and from Shea Stadium on game days. The MTA and the LIRR have agreed to expand service on the #7 subway and the Port Washington branch of the LIRR (which both stop at Shea Stadium).
Should you choose to drive, check www.mets.com for the latest information on recommended Park-and-Ride locations along the #7 subway and the LIRR, as well as interim parking areas. When arriving at Shea Stadium, follow signs and traffic personnel directing you to designated stadium sites. You should plan to arrive early.
Parking areas at Shea Stadium open at 9:30 a.m. for afternoon games and 3:30 p.m. for evening games
Public Transportation
SUBWAY
The #7 IRT Flushing Line Subway: Services Shea Stadium at the Willets Point / Shea Stadium station and makes stops at Times Square, Fifth Avenue and Grand Central Station in Manhattan
Via E, F, G, or R Trains: Connections to the #7 can be made at the 74th Street / Roosevelt Avenue (Jackson Heights) stop. Take #7 to Willets Point / Shea Stadium station
Via N Train: Change at Queensboro Plaza for the #7. Take the #7 to Willets Point / Shea Stadium station

TRAIN
Long Island Railroad (LIRR): Service to Shea Stadium on the Port Washington line on game days only. Connections from other LIRR lines can be made at Woodside. For fare and schedule information, call: (718) 217 - 5477 (New York City) or (516) 822 - 5477 (Long Island)
Metro North: Change for the #7 at Grand Central Station. Take the #7 to Willets Point / Shea Stadium station
