Directions:

From south of Baltimore, take 95 North to 695 West (Baltimore Beltway). Take Exit 18 East, Lochearn (Liberty Rd.) Make a left turn at the 7th traffic light, Northern Parkway. Make a right turn on Park Heights Ave., make a left turn on Hayward Ave. and proceed straight into the track.

From north of Baltimore, take 95 South to 695 West (Baltimore Beltway.) Take exit 83 South and follow to Northern Parkway West and follow the signs. PREAKNESS DAY ONLY: Turn left on Park Heights Ave. Go to next light - Hayward Ave., turn left. Follow signs to parking.
Regular Racing Days: Turn left on Winner Ave. Pimlico is the 2nd street on the right.

In order to maintain smooth traffic flow and minimize inconveniences for vehicles traveling to Pimlico on Black- Eyed Susan and Preakness Days, the following changes in traffic patterns will be made:

1. Rogers Avenue will be closed to all vehicle traffic from Winner Avenue to Northern Parkway from 10:00pm Friday, May 18th until 9:00pm Preakness night, Saturday May 19th.

2. Winner Avenue will be one way Northbound from Hayward Avenue to Rogers Avenue beginning at 10:00pm Thursday night, May 17th until 9:00pm Preakness night, May 19th.

3. Winner Avenue will remain two way from Rogers Avenue to Northern Parkway until 5:00pm Preakness night, May 19th.

4. Winner Avenue will become one way Northbound from Rogers Avenue to Northern Parkway beginning at 5:00pm Preakness day, May 19th until 9:00pm Preakness night.

5. Hayward Avenue will be one way Eastbound from Park Heights Avenue to Winner Avenue beginning at 7:00am Preakness morning, May 19th until 3:00pm Preakness Day.

6. All other roadways on the north side of Pimlico Race Course will operate normally.

General Rules:

INSPECTION AND SECURITY MEASURES FOR PREAKNESS:

All persons and their camera bags, purses and all containers entering Pimlico grounds are subject to direct physical search, or indirect search by wanding or magnetometers.
Pimlico reserves the right, without any refund of the ticket purchase price, to refuse admission or eject any person whose conduct is deemed by Pimlico to be disorderly, or who is under the age of 21 and possesses alcohol.

Special COOLER RESTRICTIONS for Pimlico's GRANDSTAND and CLUBHOUSE on Black-Eyed Susan and Preakness Days, and INFIELD on Preakness Day:

GRANDSTAND and CLUBHOUSE:
Coolers, backpacks, and thermoses will NOT be permitted. You may bring NON-ALCOHOLIC beverages and food items in CLEAR, plastic bags or CLEAR, SEE-THROUGH plastic containers, not larger than 18” x 18”.

CLUBHOUSE TURN:
No outside food or beverage is allowed.

TOP OF THE STRETCH:
Coolers may not be larger then 12x12 and must be placed under the seat.

INFIELD:
Coolers, backpacks and thermoses will be permitted - no bulk or oversized carrying devices allowed. Coolers larger than 28"L x 15"W x 15"H will be PROHIBITED.

Items that guests may carry into Pimlico's GRANDSTAND and CLUBHOUSE on Black-Eyed Susan Day and Preakness Day and INFIELD on Preakness Day:

NON-ALCOHOLIC beverages, individually carried in plastic containers or regular-size cans, and picnic lunches (please see COOLER RESTRICTIONS above) BEER & WINE ALLOWED IN THE INFIELD ONLY.
Beach blankets and suntan lotion.
Cellular phones, cameras (up to 35mm), camcorders and binoculars.
Rabbits' feet and other lucky charms.
Lightweight aluminum, or plastic, lawn or umbrella chairs (INFIELD ONLY).

Items that are PROHIBITED anywhere at Pimlico on Black-Eyed Susan Day and Preakness Day:
Liquor or Drugs of any kind.
Weapons of any kind.
Tents.
Hibachis or barbeques.
Ladders, scaffolding or other raising devices.
Kegs of Beer (including keg balls).
Hand carts, or wheeled carts.
GLASS CONTAINERS OF ANY TYPE.
