    HIGH ENERGY

by Jtferri on 11/9/15Mercury Lounge - New York

Just wow! SUPER high energy had SOOOO much fun seeing them in NYC. Really gave it their all and rocked out every step of the way. Played a mix of new and old. Ended with a lot of crowd participation. Everyone was into it and jamming hard core!!! Would definitely recommend going to see them if you get the chance. =)

    Proper rock show

by Anonymous on 11/9/15Mercury Lounge - New York

I didn't know what to expect coming in - certainly wasn't ready to spend the next two days telling everyone how much this band completely rocked. It was the most fun I've had at a show in years... Likely due to the fact that the band was clearly having a blast and loves playing. 100% will find them next time they play NYC.

1st time was our last time for this band

by RaiderJoe40 on 5/7/13The Fillmore - San Francisco

We like to go to the filmore as it is truely a jewel in San Francisco history, and we like to see local acts that we havent seen before which led us to Saturdays "Stone Foxes" show at the Fillmore. Ill go way out on a limb and say that they have a large following that do not care what they hear from the guys, but for someone new to their seen, I was impressed... ,then depressed by the long drawn out antics of wasted songs...The balad, or should I say salad "Give peace a Chance" went on forever as they brought out several young musicians to help them out...When the show started, and I heard a rocking "Spoonfull" of Eric Clapton fame, and later "King Bee" a Frank Marino Great song, it was obvious the guys had the tools to rock the house....But to a new veiwer, it just went limp with all the added crap....To be honest, the 2nd band " Little Hurricane" which was only a duet with a cute female drummer and bluesy axe player/singer showed much more of the rawness I enjoy in a show...As far as the Foxes go? the drummer would like to think hes Levon Helm, but hes not getting any love from this 54 year old that lived at "Post and Stiener"

The Stone Foxes have gotten a whole lot better

by rocklover on 5/6/13The Fillmore - San Francisco

These guys have continued to improve. They provide a really tight party rock n roll evening. They really play to the crowd and always seem genuinely happy when on stage performing. Shannon is a real showman and always promoting the Foxes. Brother Spence must have been practicing a lot as he is really tight now. Great ax rifs from Spence. Love these guys!

    Never Miss the Stone Foxes

by WWWombats on 4/4/13Mercury Lounge - New York

I probably should have seen it coming, but I was blown away by how great the Stone Foxes were live. Such a high-energy, fun show, with no ridiculous theatrics (like coming on 45 minutes late). Was so impressed by them at every turn -- each song got better and better.

Unbelievable performance. Anyone not living up to that standard (and that's most of you) should just be ashamed of himself.
