Sophia Loren Tickets

Purchased a VIP ticket for the Sophia Loren meet and greet at the Rhode Island Convention center. The event was poorly coordinated to say the least. I didn't find out until the actual meet and greet that Ms. Loren would not be signing autographs. There were signed posters dated back from her 2016 tour that were signed by Sophia well before the event (obviously). Event staff was clueless when it came to what was included in the VIP experience. The lovely Sophia was interviewed on stage for just over an hour. The event did include questions from the audience, but they were filled in on pieces of paper and placed into a container prior to the event. They were chosen behind the scenes minutes before the event took place. The most disappointing was being rushed at the meet and greet. This, of course, had nothing to do with the most beautiful woman in the World. Despite these factors, I was thrilled to meet her and hold her hand while three photos were taken. Five stars minus one big one due to the event coordinator. Ti amo, Sophia!

How often do you get to see a true legend? Sophia is classy, intelligent, funny and---of course---beautiful. The "show" is more like an interview, interspersed with movie clips. The host had good questions which allowed Sophia to talk about her upbringing, how she met her husband, her career, etc. For those of us who speak Italian, it's an extra perk since Sophia sometimes had comments in her mother tongue. For me, it added to the authenticity of the event, and made it feel more personable (vs a script). If Sophia comes to your area, GO!
