The creators of Cabaret and Chicago bring us the story of an optimistic and headstrong young woman determined to make her way in New York City during the throes of the Depression. Despite her drive to succeed, Flora's world is quickly turned upside down when she finds herself falling for a staunch member of the Communist Party and she is forced to choose between her heart and her head to find true happiness.
