This two night event is a first for Kansas City and Crown Center, featuring GEORGE BENSON and DAVID SANBORN on August 21st and MANHATTAN TRANSFER and JOHN PIZZARELLI on August 22nd. These are four of the most respected and world class artists in Jazz, all on one stage over two nights at Crown Center. This is simply the most important line up of Jazz talent to ever to perform together at one event in Kansas City.
The shows benefit KCPT-TV and a portion of each ticket purchase is tax deductable! Because of this you save as all tickets are free of sales tax, benefiting KCPT and saving money too. Also, all parking on site at Crown Center is FREE to concert attendees! Both shows start at 8 pm with doors open at 6:30 pm.
The Argosy Jazz Masters concerts represent a first for Crown Center! This magnificent and well known regional landmark venue will be transformed into the coolest outdoor jazz club! Featuring for the first time, reserved table and chair style seating on the Terrace (where the skating rink is located in the winter) along with general admission seating on the lawn. Both seating options will have cash bars with full beverage service!
The Argosy Jazz Masters grounds will be limited to a total maximum attendance of 3500, with only 350 of those set aside as reserved table and chair seating on the Terrace.
