Perfume is used to performing in the biggest stadiums in Japan, so this American tour stop required them to scale down quite a bit. Nevertheless, they very effectively did "more with less," and the entire production went off without a hitch. Everything was absolutely PERFECT. [Well, the only thing that would've made it better is if it had lasted two or three times longer, but that's to be expected. :-) ]
This was the best concert I've ever attended IN MY LIFE. I had to fly in from out-of-state in order to attend it--with the accompanying hotel stay, uber rides, etc.--and believe me, it was well worth EVERY LAST PENNY.
I talked to some of the venue staff members afterward, and one of them told me that Perfume's stage crew were among the politest he'd ever dealt with. Not only that, he said that the fans were among the most respectful he'd ever seen, 'cause there was no shoving, no belligerence, no drunken fights, etc. I also learned something interesting: He and the crew deal with new acts every time they work, most of whom they've never heard of. He said that they can always tell which groups are the most popular by how quickly the fans run to the front of the stage when the doors open, so when he saw all the Perfume fans SPRINTING to the stage, he knew Perfume was a very hot ticket indeed.
I highly encourage you to attend a Perfume concert whenever you can. You WILL NOT regret it.
