Matchbox 20 - AMAZING! Great venue too.

by JustMeWV on 11/19/17Jiffy Lube Live - Bristow

I love MB20 and Rob Thomas - and make a point of going to atleast one show every tour. Matchbox Twenty put on a great show - as always. A great variety of music and a high energy show. Rivers & Rust were great openers and Kyle and Sheila were very nice at the meet and greet. This venue was very nice. With VIP parking there was a very short walk. Seats were roomy and comfortable with plenty of leg room. There were plenty of nice restrooms - no annoying waits.

It was a great show really for fans. Counting Crows did good also but I was there to see Matchbox 20 They performed a good show for the crowd playing old and current hits.

Crows deliver a unique set as always!

by tsofan96 on 10/9/17Darien Lake Amphitheater - Darien Center

It seems some people's comments have been far more flattering to Matchbox's set than the Crows'. I find this confusing. While Robb Thomas and co. know how to put on a show, what makes this concert special is Counting Crows. People have complained because they want to hear all the hits played exactly the way they are on record so they can all sing along. Counting Crows has never done- and will never do- this. They are artists, and music is their art form. Their desire to change their set list daily is what makes each of their shows an event. Regulars in their set like "Miami" and "Palisades Park" are great songs even if they are not "hits." Give them a listen sometimes, and be open-minded to how they incorporate classics like "Pale Blue Eyes" and "Born to Run" into their own pieces and cover songs that inspire them. Some of the greatest artists ever have been about so much more than sing-alongs and greatest hits shows. They are not stuck in 1994; why you be?

    Great Show

by GROFan on 10/8/17Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center - Noblesville

Matchbox Twenty was fantastic! They had a great set list covering all of their albums and lots of energy on the stage. Rivers and Rust opened and they were good too. Counting Crows played next and they were rather static. OK but I wouldn't be interested in seeing them live again. Matchbox Twenty played last and was definitely the highlight of the evening.

    Matchbox 20 Rocks!

by sgruggsie on 10/8/17The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory - Irving

The venue is nice, beer prices were outrageous, floor seats are on a flat surface, so not for short people! The bands however did not disappoint! Rivers & Rust were pretty darn good!! Counting Crows were great!! And Matchbox 20 put on one of the best show that I've seen of them!! We had a great time!

Matchbox 20 and Rob Thomas were AMAZING!!

by TheCass on 10/5/17The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion presented by Huntsman - Woodlands

I was glad to hear that this is the one of the last concerts with Matchbox 20's tour with the Counting Crows. The Crows were horrible ! However, Rob Thomas and Matchbox 20 more than made up for it. High energy and absolutely amazing!!!

    Matchbox 20 never disappoints

by Tmcgov on 10/5/17The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory - Irving

Whole band put on great show. Rob T as good as ever and works his butt off as a performer. Had awesome time dancing and singing! Have always liked Crows. Bummed they didn't play Mrs. Potter and Mr. Jones.

    Counting Crows/Matchbox 20

by ecgu on 10/5/17The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory - Irving

Matchbox 20 was great! They played all of their hits, and the show was very entertaining. The Counting Crows band sounded great. The lead singer did not really sing most of the songs but was just saying the lyrics. They did not play "Mr. Jones", and that was disappointing. I will not attend another Counting Crows concert. The venue was not finished, but it worked for the concert.
