I went to this concert with mixed feelings. I was anticipating it a lot until about 2 weeks before the date - when it was announced that the lead singer was ill and had to be temporarily replaced while the band toured. But I was taking one of my kids so we went ahead and went.
The wait outside was quite long, hot, and tiring. Then, when we got inside, there was limited seating, a lot of people, and a lot of noise.
Eventually, the first band - which was different than the band advertised - came out. They did a fine job. Next came Deas Vail who I had heard before and enjoyed hearing live.
Finally, He is We came out. Despite the lead singer being a substitute, the band, and the young lady, did an excellent job. Everyone enjoyed the evening and the meet and greet afterwards.
