Sean Moriarty
president and chief executive officerSean Moriarty is the president and chief executive officer for Ticketmaster, the connection to live entertainment. He is responsible for operational leadership of all aspects of Ticketmaster's worldwide business as well as global product and technology strategy and distribution channels across all business units.
Sean was an early member of the original Citysearch technology team and served Ticketmaster's predecessor, Ticketmaster Online-Citysearch, as director of Internet Systems for Citysearch and vice president of Internet Systems for both Citysearch and Ticketmaster.com. Since 1997, Sean has held progressive roles in the two companies including, executive vice president, Technology for Ticketmaster Online-Citysearch, and president and chief operating officer, Ticketmaster.
Sean Moriarty serves on the Board of Directors of iLike.com as well as several technology advisory boards. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina, was an Exchange Fellow at the University of Warwick, Coventry UK, and attended graduate school at Boston University and the University of South Carolina.
Terry Barnes
vice chairmanTerry R. Barnes has been chairman of Ticketmaster, the connection to live entertainment, since January 2007. Prior to that, Terry served as chairman and chief executive officer of Ticketmaster from June 2005 to December 2006 and chairman from January 2003 to June 2005.
He was the co-chairman of Ticketmaster from January 2001 until January 2003 and president and chief executive officer of Ticketmaster Corporation from June 1998 until January 2001. From September 1995 until June 1998, Terry was the president and chief operating officer of Ticketmaster Ticketing Company. From 1983 until September 1995, Terry was vice president and general manager of numerous subsidiaries of Ticketmaster Corporation in the Midwest. Prior to joining Ticketmaster, Terry enjoyed an expansive music industry career, including a partnership in Village Records, a custom record label with Mercury/Polygram in Indianapolis. He was also a partner in national promotion, management and publishing companies. Terry attended Ball State University.
Brian Regan
executive vice president and chief financial officerBrian Regan is the executive vice president and chief financial officer of Ticketmaster, the connection to live entertainment, overseeing all aspects of the company's financial management including financial reporting, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, cash management, tax, purchasing and facilities.
He joined Ticketmaster in June of 2008, from Expedia, where he most recently served as senior vice president of Finance responsible for financial operations of its North American businesses, including Expedia.com, Hotels.com, and Hotwire.Com.
Before joining Expedia in 2004 he led a variety of financial roles during his tenure at LendingTree, including controller, financial planning and investor relations, from start-up through its initial public offering and eventual acquisition by IAC/InterActiveCorp.
Prior to that, Brian was an auditor and consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in its banking and securities industry practice in New York and Charlotte, North Carolina from August 1993 to November 1998.
Brian earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Bucknell University.
Eric Korman
executive vice presidentEric Korman is executive vice president of Ticketmaster, the connection to live entertainment. In this position, Eric oversees all aspects of Ticketmaster's corporate and business development.
Prior to joining Ticketmaster, Eric served as senior vice president of Mergers and Acquisitions from January 2005 to April 2006 for IAC. He joined IAC in September 2001 as vice president of Business Development and Strategy for Ecommerce Services (ECS), a former subsidiary of IAC; and subsequently, he was promoted to vice president of Strategic Planning for IAC in February 2002, and was appointed vice president of Mergers and Acquisitions in September 2003.
Before taking on his roles with IAC, Eric served in the Customer Marketing group of Coca-Cola USA from 1993 to 1995 before joining the Corporate Business Development group of The Coca-Cola Company, where he remained until 1997, managing the mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures of nonalcoholic beverage companies primarily located in Europe and South America. In January 2000, Eric joined Digital Convergence Corporation as vice president, assisting the start-up with various activities such as raising private equity and signing distribution partners. Eric left Digital Convergence later that year to become a principal in epartners, a $650 million venture fund backed by SOFTBANK and News Corporation.
Eric Korman sits on the Board of Directors of the Active Network Inc., BET.com, and Points International LTD (TSX: PTS). He is an honors graduate from Emory University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
Edward J. Weiss
executive vice president, general counselEdward J. Weiss is the executive vice president, general counsel of Ticketmaster, the connection to live entertainment. As general counsel of Ticketmaster, Ed is responsible for all aspects of the company's domestic and international legal affairs and leads Ticketmaster's legal department.
Ed joined Ticketmaster in 1998 and prior to his appointment to EVP, general counsel, he served as the company's senior vice president and assistant general counsel. Ed previously served as an assistant US Attorney in Los Angeles. Ed began his legal career in 1988 at the Los Angeles law firm Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, successfully representing a variety of businesses including Ticketmaster in commercial litigation.
Ed is a graduate of University of California, Berkeley and earned his J.D. from the University's Boalt Hall School of Law. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles & Inland Empire and Bet Tzedek in Los Angeles. Ed is based in Ticketmaster's West Hollywood corporate headquarters.
Brian Pike
chief technology officerBrian Pike is chief technology officer of Ticketmaster, the connection to live entertainment. In this position, Brian is responsible for the planning, development and operations of all aspects of Ticketmaster's ticketing systems.
Brian joined Ticketmaster in 2003 as vice president of CRM and data analytics from Citysearch, where he served as vice president of Product Development. Prior to that, Brian served as a Consultant with Arthur D. Little from 1992-1996, focusing on technology architecture and the redesigning of business processes and also previously for Morgan Stanley from 1987-1990, where he designed and built computer networks.
Brian Pike received his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Stanford University and his MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles. He is based at Ticketmaster's West Hollywood, CA corporate headquarters.
Mike McGee
executive vice president, North American Business OperationsMike McGee is executive vice president of North American Business Operations for Ticketmaster, the connection to live entertainment. In this position he oversees integrated programs and services to drive ticket sales and optimize opportunities that meet the company's North American business objectives of providing superior ticketing services and innovative solutions for its clients and consumers.
Prior to joining Ticketmaster, Mike was a member of the senior corporate executive team at Clear Channel Entertainment, serving as that company's chief administrative officer overseeing all real estate and serving as the corporate interface with CCE's operating divisions. He previously held the position of senior vice president of ARAMARK's Sports and Entertainment Group overseeing strategic initiatives and other business development areas for the division in the domestic and international marketplace. Mike also served as chairman of the board and CEO for Leisure Management International (LMI), a company he founded in 1984, which grew to become a global leader in the management of public assembly facilities. Before that, he served for 17 years as president and general manager of The Summit (Compaq Center) in Houston.
Mike attended Louisiana State University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Louisiana-Monroe. He has been an active member of the International Association of Assembly Managers (IAAM) since 1972, most recently serving as a member of the Board of Trustees for the IAAM Foundation, chairing its Development Committee and its Major Gift Campaign. Additionally, he is a member of the Venue Management Association (Pacific Rim). Mike has served on the IAAM Board of Directors as well as a member of the Board of Regents of the IAAM Public Assembly Facility Management School at Oglebay, where he was also an instructor. He is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Houston Visitors and Convention Bureau, Greater Houston Partnership, Houston Independent Bank and the Houston Super Bowl XXXVIII Host Committee.
Tommy Higgins
executive vice president, Ticketmaster EuropeTommy Higgins serves as executive vice president of Ticketmaster Europe, overseeing all aspects of business and operations in Europe for Ticketmaster, the connection to live entertainment. Prior to assuming this position, Mr. Higgins most recently served as group managing director for Ticketmaster UK and Ireland.
Tommy began his career in the music industry in Ireland in the 1970's, operating a successful chain of retail music stores. In 1986, Tommy formed a joint venture with a group of investors to bring the HMV specialty retail brand to Ireland. He went on to establish, in 1992, Ireland's first fully computerized national ticketing company, Ticketshop. As part of a joint venture with Ticketmaster, Higgins' Ticketshop was re-branded Ticketmaster Ireland in 1997, with Mr. Higgins assuming the role of managing director, responsible for all aspects of business development, marketing, and client services throughout the country of Ireland.
Tommy Higgins is based in Ticketmaster's Dublin, Ireland office.
Wendy Markus Webb
senior vice president, Strategic Communications and Investor RelationsWendy Markus Webb joined Ticketmaster in 2008 as senior vice president of Strategic Communications and Investor Relations for Ticketmaster, the connection to live entertainment.
Wendy is establishing the investor relations capability at Ticketmaster, as well as providing strategic direction for the company's communications efforts. Prior to Ticketmaster, Wendy had a 20-year career with the Walt Disney Company where she most recently held the positions of executive director of the Walt Disney Company Foundation and senior vice president of Investor Relations and Shareholder Services. Wendy began her career at PaineWebber and Lehman Brothers.
At Disney, Wendy was nominated for Best Overall Investor Relations-Mega Cap by Investor Relations magazine in 2006 and awarded highest ratings in IR effectiveness by Institutional Investor magazine and by Greenwich Associates in the same year.
Wendy earned an MBA from Harvard University and received her bachelor's degree in English Literature from Smith College, with seminars at Oxford University and Harvard College where she played Varsity Tennis for The Harvard Crimson. She was recently nominated to the Board of Directors of Jack in the Box, Inc.
Beverly K. Carmichael
senior vice president, Human Resources and chief people officerBeverly K. Carmichael, J.D., is senior vice president, Human Resources and chief people officer at Ticketmaster, the connection to live entertainment.
Prior to this role, Beverly was vice president of Talent Acquisition, Learning and Organizational Development at Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She spent ten years at Southwest Airlines in Dallas, Texas where she held numerous roles including vice president, People (Human Resources), vice president of Labor and Employee Relations, and chief counsel, Labor and Employment. Prior to Southwest Airlines, Beverly was an Associate at the law firm of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP in Los Angeles and in Washington, DC and held several key management roles at Sun Oil Company (Sunoco).
Since 2006, Beverly has served as a director-at-large on the SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) Board of Directors. Additionally, she serves on the MBA Advisory Board at the University of Oklahoma and the Corporate Communications and Public Affairs Advisory Board at Southern Methodist University. She formerly served on the Texas A&M Center for Human Resources Advisory Board.
Beverly is licensed to practice law in California and Texas, and is certified as a senior professional in human resources (SPHR).
