About

GNASH IN CONCERT:

Rising pop sensation Gnash cracked the Top 40 in early 2016 with his single "I Hate U, I Love U" (feat. Olivia O'Brien), and he's been killing it ever since on his u, me and us tour. Gnash is all about collaboration – each track on his lush 2016 EP us featured a duet, and he often surprises fans at his shows by bringing out guest vocalists like Olivia O'Brien to sing with him. Gnash recorded the EP in his parents' garage, but you'd never know it – the finely crafted collection of minimal, R&B-influenced ballads shimmers with restrained synth, piano, and electronic beats that create a hypnotic world of hauntingly beautiful melodies and ethereal rhythms. In concert he performs his dreamy tracks with just the right combination of swagger and emotion, taking the stage in his signature sunglasses and encouraging the crowd to sing along to each anthemic chorus. With his warm voice, subtle production, and ear for insanely catchy hooks, Gnash is a must-see for ticket buyers looking to get a glimpse of pop's tastefully understated future.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

LA-based singer-songwriter Gnash, aka Garrett Nash, started DJing in his teens and began producing pop music in his parents' garage while attending college at the University of Southern California. He made his debut in 2015 with the EP u, and in 2016 his sophomore EP us cracked the Billboard 200 thanks to the Top 40 hit "I Hate U, I Love U." Gnash's quick road to success had much to do with the Internet – "I Hate U, I Love U" featured vocals from Olivia O'Brien, a previously unknown singer he discovered via social media, and YouTube star Andrea Russett boosted the track's exposure when she shared it with her fans on Snapchat. The resulting attention took Gnash by surprise – within a year he had racked up tens of millions of plays on Spotify and Soundcloud and performed on Late Night With Seth Myers. Since then he's released a third EP simply titled me and wowed on tour with stellar performances that showcase his impressive voice and knack for writing minimal yet powerful pop earworms.

Every time I go to a Gnash show I know I will have a good night, I’ve been to many shows of many different artists but no one truly makes u feel surrounded by positivity as much as Gnash. You will be glad you went, I promise.

One of the best concerts I’ve been to. Gnash was able to make everyone feel welcome by making the concert very personal. He had many conversations with all of us throughout the concert. Overall an amazing concert

    Fun, Feel Good Music!

by Iman on 1/26/19Brighton Music Hall - Boston

Gnash was a great performer, arguably sounds even better singing in person than on record! The venue (Brighton Music Hall) was intimate and charming. Fun concert!

    Super Personal

    by R. D. on 1/26/19Brighton Music Hall - Boston

With the small venue, this concert was really personal. The opener signed things and got photos with people at the end, and even stood in the crowd during the main performer. Gnash put on a great show! He was super energetic and got the whole venue involved in the concert! One of my favorite concerts for sure!

    Fantabulous

by Cass on 1/18/19The Bronze Peacock at House of Blues Houston - Houston

Met some new artists like Guardin and Carlie Hanson, Carlie is absolutely stunning I love her to death. Gnash was a sight to behold I wouldn't rather be anywhere else. I brought my friend and we had the most amazing time there, even the venue was nice and close to them.

    Gnash was surprisingly connected

by AbsentAlice on 5/10/17Neptune Theatre - Seattle

I took my daughter & her friend to this show and while the openers left a lot to be desired Gnash impressed me not only with his energy and connection to the audience but also with his musical talent. Unfortunately the openers we saw were like ammature college DJ's. MAX was the best of the ones that we saw but the rest were thankfully forgettable.
