FROM GARAGE TO GLOBE: COMPANY CULTURE

Ticketmaster comes from humble origins. In 1976, two Arizona college students set up shop in their garage determined to come up with a better way of selling tickets to local events. Over thirty years (and millions of tickets) later, it's safe to say they were onto something special.

We've come a long way from that Arizona garage, but many of the qualities that shaped the company in those early days - creativity, dedication, ambition and ingenuity - are still at the heart of what Ticketmaster is all about. We're a company where new ideas are shared openly, tired ways of doing things can be thrown out the window, and every one of our people takes part in shaping our future. We're a passionate bunch. It's not uncommon for our team members to talk about their latest music discovery, the scores from last night's game, or the concert they're going to next week.

We also know diversity is one of our greatest strengths. We're a company made up of over 6,000 employees from all walks of life. Our West Hollywood, California-based corporate headquarters, located on the famous Sunset Strip, is the foundation of our organization. But our workforce extends around the world. In addition to our R&D operations in Phoenix and national offices across the United States, we have international operations, from China and Australia to the U.K. and Germany.
