SynopsisBlue Man Group is best known for their wildly popular theatrical shows and concerts which combine music, comedy and multimedia theatrics to produce a totally unique form of entertainment. The blissful party atmosphere created at their live events has become the trademark of a Blue Man Group experience. Currently, their theatrical shows can be seen in New York, Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas, Orlando, Berlin, Oberhausen, Stuttgart, and Tokyo.
AwardsBlue Man Group at the Astor Place Theatre has been honored with both the Obie and the Lucille Lortel Awards; the Drama Desk Committee decided to create a whole new category, Unique Theatrical Production, in order to present the show with an award.

AccessibilityThe Astor Place Theatre is currently unable to provide barrier-free access to wheelchair-bound patrons. Patrons confined to a wheelchair are welcome to attend our show, however, such patrons must bring companions to assist them in their entry and exit from the theatre, and must be able to physically transfer into a standard theatre seat. Entry and exit into the theatre includes 8 stairs leading to the lobby and box office area, and 6 stairs to access the orchestra seating area. The first 4-5 rows of the theatre are the PONCHO SECTION. A Poncho will be provided on your seat and provides protection from edible and washable materials which could come flying of the stage during the performance. It is suggested that you wear casual clothes when sitting in the poncho section.
