KIDZ BOP Kids on Tour

There is no stopping the 21st century's most massive musical empire: KIDZ BOP. Since first being introduced in 2001, the self-proclaimed "No. 1 music brand for kids" has transformed pop music's greatest hits — even the most explicit of chart-toppers — into kid-friendly versions. It's proven to be a huge success, with multiple albums reaching No. 1 on the U.S. Kids charts nearly every year. Naturally, the KIDZ BOP franchise eventually grew beyond just recording albums to becoming a live performance force to be reckoned with.

After a nationwide talent search, the inaugural KIDZ BOP tour kicked off in 2007 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and hit up venues across the U.S. for more than six months. But it wasn't until seven years later that the brand took touring to a whole new level.

In 2014, the Dream Big, Sing Loud tour landed in more than 40 cities around the nation with the cast singing current hits by artists like Pharrell Williams, Ed Sheeran, and Katy Perry. This led to similar new tours each year, including 2015's Make Some Noise tour, 2016's Life of the Party tour, and 2017's Best Time Ever tour.

Also in 2017, KIDZ BOP expanded beyond the U.S., forming a cast of British KIDZ BOP Kids exclusively for the U.K. audience. But they also remained a hot ticket in the States, launching the KIDZ BOP Live 2018 Tour, followed by the KIDZ BOP World Tour in 2019.

Of course, each year features new performers, new songs, and new choreography. During these tours, the Kids perform more than 50 live shows each year. The seven-kid cast is chosen through a nationwide casting call that picks young talents to sing on the KIDZ BOP albums, star in their music videos, and travel North America as part of the KIDZ BOP Kids live tours. These kids are all multi-talent threats (some even have Broadway credits already to their name) and may just be future pop stars themselves.

    EXCELLENT SHOW!

    by CS on 1/26/24

I attended the NYC show at Jones Beach this past summer & the Beacon theatre show during the fall/winter with my nieces. Both shows were incredible!!!!!!! For the folks saying that there was too much lip singing, please attempt to dance FULL OUT & SING at the same time while looking like you’re not completely out of air. Even seasoned professionals have a difficult time doing this. I wish I had an ounce of the talent these kids have. Thank you for putting on such an incredible show. You all did such an incredible job. We will most definitely be buying tickets again this year. As for the venues - Jones Beach theatre was exceptional - it was a sold-out show, and it was so incredibly organized, and everything flowed smoothly. There were lots of food options, the only downside was that there were no adult beverages at this venue. After the show parents & adults left chanting - KIDZ BOP! KIDZ BOP! The energy was through the roof at this event. The weather was absolutely perfect for an outdoor show. The Beacon theatre - was a smaller venue, I personally loved the intimate setting, better view obviously. It was an evening show during the school/work week which was tough, but it was so worth it. Overall, we had such an incredible time. Both venues were different but incredibly entertaining. We danced and sang the entire time. My nieces and I are huge fans and plan to attend another show or two this year if schedules permit. Shout out to Shila who is our absolute favorite. We are so glad she’s back in 2024!

    KIDSBOP TOUR 2023

by Barbie on 12/11/23YouTube Theater - Inglewood

It was my first time at the YOUTUBE theater and it was great and the people were so helpful and friendly. They started a little late but it was definitely worth the wait. The food trucks had a lot of different food options which are good for our picky kiddos. The selfie stations were fun.

    Didn’t meet my expectations. :(

by LC on 12/11/23YouTube Theater - Inglewood

I’m very disappointed that the entire show was lip syncing! This was my daughter’s first concert. I went all out and bought floor tickets. To see that this live show was short of singing live was very disappointing. I’m going to seek some type of reimbursement. Unfortunately, no more Kidz Bop concerts for us.

    Could have been better

by Kristi on 12/11/23YouTube Theater - Inglewood

I took my son to the Kidz Bop concert last year at the Irvine amphitheater. We had a blast. This year, the kids danced very well but they lipped sync. We listened to the Songs on the way to concert and the sound track sounded exactly the same. Really bummed about that. It was more of a dance show than a concert. Had to spend $45 in parking which also put a damper on the evening.

    So much fun!

by Moe on 12/11/23YouTube Theater - Inglewood

My daughter is 8, loves pop. She knew all the songs and had the time of her life! Interactive, affordable and a great show! We’ll be attending every year until she grows out of it. Dress fun, and be ready to get out of your seat. YouTube theater doesn’t have a bad seat in the house! Highly recommend!

    Kids loved, could improve

    by LoBo321 on 12/10/23Paramount Theatre - Seattle

First off, my kids (5 & 8) loved the show. In their minds, nothing could have gone better, probably. As a parent, I was annoyed by beach balls that got thrown in the audience about three-five songs in. For the rest of the concert kids were running around the aisles trying to get their hands on the ball. Once my kids stopped caring about the balls, we then got hit in the head maybe 5-7 times total. It was annoying. They should throw out the balls towards the end of the concert. Some of the songs were super boring. They should play just hits. That lost a lot of kids' attention. They should also add more kids. There are only four kids in the performance.

    Expected more

by disappointed on 12/7/23Moda Center - Portland

I expected there to be more actual singing of their music and not so much of an emphasis on dancing and choreography. Too much lip syncing.

    Fun

My 8 years old daughter really loved it and she can’t wait until they come back again. This was her first concert.

Too expensive for the quality of the show

by Disappointed dad on 12/6/23Paramount Theatre - Seattle

I'm sorry, my daughter (5) had a good time, we got really good seats, that were not cheap at all, to see 4 teenagers just dance and jump around... Playback the entire show... I know that I should have informed myself better, however, for the price of the ticket I was expecting something way better. This was no better than a group of 4 teenagers after practicing some dances over the weekend.
