A glance at the tracklisting of The Best of Nickelback Volume 1, the greatest hits set that the Canadian post-grunge rockers released in 2013, shows how dominant the band has been on the airwaves since breaking through with their third album, 2001's Silver Side Up. Hits like "How You Remind Me," "Someday," "Photograph," and "Rockstar" have helped Nickelback to sell more than 22 million albums in the U.S., making them one of the top-selling groups of the 2000s. Fans who bought tickets for the band's 2013 "The Hits Tour" got to see crunching renditions those songs and more in concert.
Frontman Chad Kroeger formed Nickelback with two of his brothers -- guitarist Mike and drummer Brandon -- and guitarist-keyboardist Ryan Peake in their isolated hometown of Hanna, Alberta. They eventually moved to Vancouver to work on original music, and landed a deal with Roadrunner Records after self-releasing their debut album, Curb, in 1996 and building a large fan base in Vancouver. Brandon Kroeger left the group early in its run; Nickelback's current drummer is Daniel Adair.
Fan or liar? Definitely a fan! They were amazing! Definitely would go again!
I went to see them at the PNC Pavilion in Charlotte! I loved my experience. Had enough space to dance around and rock on!! I would definitely see them in concert again. Top favorite band for sure!!! š
Got our moneys worth. They gave a great performance. Really enjoyed ourselves. Love their music more than I did before the concert. They seemed down to earth too
Great venue, just the right size. Show was fantastic, a mix of a couple of new tunes which are great and all the old hits. Chad was great along with the rest of the band. Great rock n roll band!
IF youāre a Nickelback fan, you missed a good time at Choctaw Casino in Durant, OK, on 4/6/24, if you werenāt there! Although Chadās mic had to be looped through some sort of auto-tuner, that made him sound like Mickey Mouse at times AND the fact that they only played for approximately 75 minutesā¦.it was still a kickass show and Iād go see them again tomorrow if I could. It is definitely a tour tour to see. (RIP CJSnareā¦)
They were excellent! They sounded great, interacted with the audience, would definitely see them again!
One of the best concerts Iāve been to in a long time.
Last time we saw NB at Choctaw, there was a pit section. Missed that this go round. The show was great, NB killed it- as always! Love seeing them in such an intimate venue!
It was an early birthday present for my mom! We had an awesome time! Staff was kind and hospitable! Place was clean! We loved that even though we werenāt front row seats it was still personable!
It was great experience show that I got to go to with a special person in my life. Definitely recommend their showing
