About

Gorgeous showgirls, incredible special effects, dazzling lights and costumes—all within the framework of classic song and dance—this is Jubilee!  For over two decades audiences have been awed by the Jubilee! Experience, and so will you as you're swept away be the spectacle of hundreds of showgirls, by Samson and Delilah and the destruction of the legendary temple, by the on-stage sinking of the majestic Titanic, and by a finale like no other in Vegas.

All this glamour and energy are the brainchild of master showman Donn Arden.  After more than three decades of creating and producing unsurpassed entertainment extravaganzas around the world, Mr. Arden turned his attention to Jubilee! which opened on July 30, 1981 and has now been seen by over eight million people.  The fact that this long-running show still receives accolades from around the world is evidence of his genius.

What Steven Spielberg has meant to the silver screen, Mr. Arden meant to the stage: breathtaking action, unsurpassed pageantry, and some of the most amazing scenes every executed on the live stage.  A tireless perfectionist, his touch is everywhere , from the costumes and staging to the lighting and set.  Jubilee! is truly his enduring creation in every sense.

Part of what has contributed to the lasting popularity of Jubilee! are the more than 1,000 unique and individually designed costumes created by internationally-renowned designer Pete Menefee and world-famous Bob Mackie, designer to stars.  The original cost of these colorful, glittering costume was $3.5 million, with millions more being spent over the years to upgrade and maintain literally tons of feathers, hundreds of thousands of rhinestones, and miles of stunning fabric.

In fact, lest you think all the costumes consist of nothing more than strategically placed rhinestones on a gorgeous showgirl, consider the gowns for Finale: some required more than sixteen yards of material.  Many girls also wear over 120 separate twisted plumes of pure ostrich feathers and ten yards of boa.

Building on the shoulders of these creative geniuses, hundreds of designers, performers, and technicians have made Jubilee! a labor of love over the years.  They all welcome you to their show and hope you enjoy class Las Vegas at its very best.

    The last of the "Follies"

by makua on 8/23/15ballys - las vegas

I first saw the show over 35 years ago #70's#!... It had claimed to be one of the "BEST FOLLIES SHOW" to see in Vegas back then! And it really was beautiful and dazzling in everyway I can recall!...but now with several Cirque du solieh productions and other new types of entertainments that had taken over etc....I had to see Jubillee again!!! My heart jumped on the opening to see the beautiful "Follies" again!!!....it took me to tears of joy to see the ART of FOLLIES!!! And we were very excited to see what if any new ""changes added to keep the FOLLIES quality alive and strong But then as the show continued....somehow we all ended struggling to keep our eyes open!? Music/sound effects was weak for the most part ...theatre temperature seating was warm #had to fan ourselves..warmth caused us to get tired#...costumes were clearly of the old material/style and still the same from before!!! The women were beautiful in the follies costumes...but surprise nothing newer. bigger..brighter or better had been done to the costumes...or to the "Art of Follies"!!! Its hanging on to the residue and shadow of the "old Jubilee" show! To tip it off even more....is to see the male dancers looking just as slim and long legged as the showgirls...that a man need not worry about getting jealous!!!...if taking his wife or girl too see the show (no eye candy for the ladies at all... so sorry but truel#!. There was a male singer that sang beautiful we had noticed and agreed...but there is still room for better/stronger needed singers...so sorry but true! I believe the "Follies" in Vegas should always REIGN in Vegas!!!...no matter what new shows/trends comes its way! Vegas Follies Forever!!! Jubillee.or investors....do something about it plzzzz!!! There's still hope for it to be appreciated and timeless!

    Boring and Dated

by VegasVacayGirl on 8/10/15Bally's - Las Vegas

I was expecting to see beautiful costumes coupled with good choreography. Instead, we got decent costumes with terrible choreography, horrible sound and even worse stage presentation. I feel really bad for the performers because they were clearly talented but the show is in desperate need of an overhaul from top to bottom. My husband and I ended up leaving 30 minutes into the show because we didn't want to waste anymore time in a show in which I was having a hard time keeping my eyes open. I know that there are different strokes for different folks but I can't think of anyone I know who would enjoy the show. I thoroughly regret spending my money on this show.

Jubilee - Classic Vegas glitz and glam

by detsportsfanboy on 2/28/15Jubilee Showroom at Bally's Las Vegas - Las Vegas

My wife and I are Vegas locals and we recently got the chance to see Jubilee at Bally's. It did not disappoint. Seriously it was all that I was expecting while not really having any expectations. The costumes and sets were classic Vegas with a nice balance of cheesiness and elegance. Many of the acts were over the top and it was definitely sensory overload while being fun and enjoyable. If you know what you're getting into Jubilee is absolutely worth seeing. If you're expecting a Cirque level show this might not impress you but if you're feeling nostalgic Jubilee will deliver.

    Don't waste your time!

by tsmoz on 11/15/14Wherever Jubilee is, don't remember - Las Vegas

This show is absolutely ridiculous. It's all over the place, makes no sense, and I don't know what the other reviewer is talking about with the "special effects" in the Titanic scene; there was a cheesy cardboard boat in the background that "sunk"...it was awful. They tell you in the beginning that this show is about the Titanic--but they don't mention that it's also about a million other stories and people bursting into song in between. Now, I love Beyonce's music but it didn't belong in this show! It was so confusing and a waste of time and money.

    What a mess!

by Jason7777 on 4/26/14Ballys Hotel - Las Vegas

A timeless Las Vegas show ruined and destroyed completely! Highly unorganized and trying to tell a story that makes no sense at all. Do not waste your time or money if you have seen this show in the past and want to see it again!

Everyone should experience this Vegas Classic

by TIGGERKITIN on 2/25/14Jubilee Theater Balleys - Las Vegas

The show it amazing. I have seen it at least ten times. The Titanic and Sampson and Dehliala is the best parts of the show. I miss some of the old show they did in the 90's with the magician that made the helicopter dissappear. I Don't really care for the Asian brothers putting their balls on each others head. Still this show is a perfect ten and I am looking forward to the reopening in a couple of weeks to see what the changes are.

    Jubilee

    by Mookie7168 on 10/27/13Las Vegas Bally's - Las Vegas

I went to Vegas with no intention of seeing Jubilee. On the first day, I did the backstage tour with Gina as the tour guide. She did a great job explaining how everything worked. The tour was scheduled for 1 hour and she took 2 hours out of her day for the tour. Very interesting and it is a well spent 20$. I spent Sunday through Friday in Vegas and as the week went on, I was telling people I did the backstage tour. Vegas staff kept telling me how great the show is and I should see it. I talked my group into it and bought tickets for our last night. The show was excellent. Aside from the pretty ladies, the men with their balancing act was great. My favorite was the Titanic scene as I was amazed by the special effects. It could have been a movie. My uncle hates shows in general but he loved this one.

    Jubilee is amazing.

by Theik on 4/21/12Jubilee - Las Vegas

The wife and I never leave Las Vegas without seeing Jubilee, it never gets old! We have experienced the behind the scenes tour twice, both girls were knowledgable and answered the many questions the group had. Why do we always go back? see it for yourself and you will understand.
