This was my first time going and I enjoyed it very much. I like the way the tables were set up so you could surround yourself with all of your friends. I was also impressed that they are now allowing local talent to be displayed and giving them a chance to showcase. The bellydance superstars were phenominal and everything I had hoped they'd be.
Beautiful dancers! So glad they came to Indiana and I will always see them when they come back.
The show was amazing! I loved that local performers were included. I wish it was longer!
Having seen the Bombay Bellywood show in 2010, I knew this would be great, but it was better than that even...just wonderful. The dancers were technically brilliant, smiling, beautiful, and the costumes were amazing. Issam is the hero of the Tabla, and his spots were inspired too. Would love to see the show again, but it was a very short tour. Inka you were wonderful!!!

I should have looked into the show more before I purchased the tickets! When I saw the commercial I was excited thinkng this would be a new form of dance and a peek into another culture that my wife and I could enjoy together. We do not get the chance to go out very often and I felt horrible after seeing the first act, that is when I realized just how much of a mistake I'd made by choosing this show. The first thing that was obviously wrong to us was the lack of variety of performers. I would conclude that this is an american version of bellydance with most of the dancers being caucasion american. All of my previous exposure of bellydance had more ethnic cultures represented, and seeing this show lacked this very important feature was enough, but it got even worse! I could have overlooked the obvious lack of diversity represented if the level of talent could have distracted me, but it was clear that only a couple of the dancers had some what perfected the art of bellydance, the decorative hip scarves they wore around their hips with the hanging jewelry barely moved in most cases. I just kept getting more and more angry with myself for spending so much money on something I wanted to walk out on! Clearly most of the money goes to the outfits they wore and traveling, but not the locations they choose! Keswick theatre was in worse condition than my local movie theatre as a child! I am sorry to say we were completely disappointed we spent well earned money and traveled over an hour for this show!
Show was EXCELLENT, but Birchmere was freezing!!!!

A fun show. Energetic music and dance. I find it ridiculous that I am forced to type out a long winded review just to satisfy a character minimum for the website, when my review is succinctly captured in the line above.
very cool, wish they would have had a cd of the music played from that show. Otherwise it was fantasti.
