Worth the Wait!
Ruoff Music Center - Noblesville
90s alt rock is just totally unrepeatable and Matchbox 20 have that sound that takes you right back! The melodies, the lyrics, the loud! Bought tickets before the pandemic, waited 3 years (on top of waiting more than a decade) and it was one of the best shows I’ve ever been a part. Fabulous talent and electrifying energy wowed us lucky concertgoers with every song. Matchbox 20 left it all on stage. I’m so happy they came back together for a tour and cannot wait to see them again!

Worth the wait
Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre - Tinley Park
The Matchbox 20 concert was the best concert I've seen this year. We saw them the very last night of their tour. They played for over 2-1/2 hours and it was like they didn't want it to end. The concert was the Midwest Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, IL. The staff was kind, professional and the crowd was mellow and there to enjoy the evening. The only negative thing about the evening is that Midwest Amp. was flashing hate messages on the big screens, "Hate will not be tolerated."and "Hate towards LBGTQetc... people will not be tolerated. You will be removed from the venue."Everyone was like, WTH? We were there to have fun, not to hate on anyone. It was unfortunate that the venue feels the need to discuss hate before the concert and throw that vibe into the evening.

Broadview Stage at SPAC - Saratoga Springs
Best show I've ever seen. I got to a few concerts a year but had not seen Matchbox yet and boy what a treat. The title says it all: if you ever get the chance, go.

High Energy Band! Excellent Show!
I waited 3 whole years to see Matchbox 20 live and they did not disappoint! Even though I have wanted to see them for 27 years now ever since I first saw and heard their first video on MTV, I did not know what to expect from them live. I have always loved Rob Thomas’ voice. I was so thrilled to see and hear him in person! He was so good! I felt bad for him, though, due to the high humidity that night and he was sweating so bad that he was glistening. But, he and the band were troopers and they carried on having very high energy the whole show and were just loving being there and what they do. So much fun and positive energy! They are a band I could see again and again! It is rare to like every single song a band or artist performs, but I did at this concert and some of them I had not even heard before because they were new. What a terrific band with one of the best front man out there! Keep up the good work, guys! Love y’all and your music! Fan for life!
MATCHBOX TWENTY IN CONCERT:
After a several-year hiatus from the stage, beloved alt-rockers Matchbox Twenty emerged stronger than ever in 2012 with their fourth studio album North, landing at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and embarking on The North Tour 2013 to the delight of fans around the world. The bands 2013 dates with the Goo Goo Dolls treated audiences to old favorites and newer hits like 2012 single "She's So Mean," cementing their status as a must-see band in 2014.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
“It was one of the best, if not the best, concert I have ever been to. I appreciate the fact that the whole band, especially Rob Thomas, gives it everything they have on stage. You really get your money's worth.”
“Rob Thomas came across as so casual and down to earth and friendly that you connected with him instantly.”
“Such a great show. I've been a fan since 1995! I've seen them three times over the years and they were as good as when I saw them in the '90s. They played a great mix of old and new!”
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Matchbox Twenty rose to international fame during the ‘90s with classic alt-rock gems like “Push,” “3am,” and “Real World." Their 1996 debut album Yourself or Someone Like You was certified platinum in Canada, New Zealand and Australia and their 2000 follow-up Mad Season was certified 4x platinum in the United States. During a band hiatus in the 2000s, frontman Rob Thomas focused on his solo career, resulting in the phenomenally successful single "Smooth," a collaboration with Latin guitar legend Santana. Fans rejoiced when the band returned to the studio in 2010 to record what would ultimately become 2012’s North, their first album to land at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
