I’ll take “Prog Rock Bands who deliver” Alex!
All you fans of classic Yes, armchair critics of sound board techs, piners of the past: Listen to any Yes, ABWH record, buy two tickets to a concert, bring a friend, sit down, relax and enjoy artists & their music that will transport you to another, saner world! And appreciate the closet sound to the classics you’ll ever hear! Just say YES, not NO!

Way past time to call it quits
First! I love Yes. Second, this is not Yes. If Steve Howe is going to tour then he should focus on his excellent solo recordings. Please stop calling this current lineup Yes. It is NOT Yes. Yes really needed to call it quits after the 2002 tour. I am sorry. I certainly don’t want to make anyone mad but it is (past) time for YES to call it quits.

Good to see them again
The Magnolia - El Cajon
They were very good and enjoyed seeing them again (seen them 5 times). Don't know hiw to exactly describe this but...the sound wasn't to loud or distorted but, the best word I can use is "overdriven". All in all very good cocert.

Top-notch musicians give us our favorite music
Fox Performing Arts Center - Riverside
In 1972, I was 18, and me with my buds moved into a new residence that had a huge living room. We set up my band's PA (Altec Voice of the Theater speaker system) in the living room, and I plopped the recently released Close to the Edge on the turntable. I remember thinking, "Just like I saw top notch musicians performing Beethoven's 9th Symphony at the Hollywood Bowl earlier this summer, in 50 years we will be watching top notch musicians performing YES music, and probably the Moody Blues as well." Seeing Steve Howe himself on guitar (again, seen him so many times!) was a treat too, Jon Davison's singing was great just like with John Lodge 2 months ago.

HORRIBLE SOUND MIXING
Fox Performing Arts Center - Riverside
Having seen Steve Howe and this band before, I had high expectations. First-an hour long lecture on the art of YES distracted from the experience. I actually closed my eyes for a nap. The stage set up was good and the concert started well. However the sound mixing emphasized the base and drums over Steve Howe and the vocals. Even with my expensive concert ear plugs, I had to “finger filter” so that I could hear the vocals. We left midway thru the first set as the shear noise was not entertaining, but highly annoying.

Fantastic show
Fox Performing Arts Center - Riverside
I saw YES at the Fox in Riverside CA on 11/4/23. From the first song Roundabout to the last song the band was jamming. The crowd was into all the songs. We were singing it we a lot of fun. I’ll see them gain. Thanks to all the members of YES for keeping their music a live!

Yes
The Magnolia - El Cajon
The Magnolia is a great Theater. Plenty of parking in area and had great seats. Band played a variety of songs and not just their recognizable catalog.

was okay, but could've been awesome
Fox Performing Arts Center - Riverside
Having Yes within a stone's throw is something I always wanted, but it wasn't my favorite setlist. My favorite songs came last, and they abridged some of them. It was an older audience that mainly sat down. I would have liked to see more dancing, and the venue only always dancing at your seat.

Classic Tales Of Yes
Fox Performing Arts Center - Riverside
Was looking forward hearing Yes at Riverside, CA @ Fox Performing Arts Center, Nov 4 2023. Steve Howe’s great guitar skills and Jon Davison vocals high on my bucket List. Fox is a very small venue. Converted from a movie theater, not a bad seat in the house. Was disappointed at Yes’s sound quality. To be specific, the bass guitar overwhelmed all instruments and vocals on most songs. A couple songs such as “Turn of the Century” did not require much bass and was great to hear. For the most part, all audio was distorted by the bass. I was at Fox 30 days ago. Six member group doing Fleetwood Mac – Rumours had great audio. Yes needs better sound engineer.
Steve Howe: guitars, backing vocals (1970 -1981, 1990-1992, 1995-present)

Geoff Downes: keyboards (1980-1981, 2011-present)
Jon Davison: lead vocals, acoustic guitar (2012-present)

Formed in 1968 by Jon Anderson and the late, and much-missed, Chris Squire, YES have been one of the most innovative, influential and best-loved bands in rock music history. Their 1970s albums The Yes Album, Fragile, Close To The Edge, Yessongs (a triple live album set), Tales From Topographic Oceans, Relayer and Going For The One were ground-breaking in musical style and content. Their music also became synonymous with artist Roger Dean whose distinctive YES logo design and artwork adorned the lavish gatefold presentation sleeves of many YES albums.
With sales of over 50 million records, the Grammy-award winning YES were inducted into The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2017 where they performed Roundabout from the album Fragile and the FM radio-friendly Owner Of A Lonely Heart from the 1985 album 90125.
