    Survivor still has it

by Calina on 7/15/19River City Casino & Hotel - St Louis

Our first date was in 1985 to at Six Flags. Survivor was in concert. We are still together 34 years later. Almost all of the members of the band are different than the ones we saw that night. The lead singer is only like 23 years old but when he sang the search is over he rolled back those 34 years and took us straight back to that night. Thank you so much for the memories!

    so-so

by packy on 7/15/19River City Casino & Hotel - St Louis

Survivor played @ 12 songs stretched out to 90 minutes due to endless extended guitar solos. Interesting mix of popular hits and a few deep cuts, but excluding any songs from "When Seconds Count" was inexcusable. The young singer's voice is a reasonable facsimile of Jimi Jamison's, but for most of the evening he looked bored and very rarely interacted with the crowd. Plus, when a group is known for catchy 3 1/2 min power pop songs, the self-indulgent 10+ minute bluesy guitar solo in the middle of the set was a momentum killer that left most in the audience darting for the bathroom or looking at their cell-phones. Overall, disappointed.

Left a lot to be desired

by wghar on 7/15/19River City Casino & Hotel - St Louis

Only played for about 75 min total and you would expect them to play all of their hits but did not. Very boring overall until the last 20 min.

    Rocked It

    by L. L. on 7/15/19River City Casino & Hotel - St Louis

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the Survivor concert. Even though the band has a different lead singer than years past, I still thought they sounded great. They played several greatest hits and a lot of the songs I liked. I had a great time and would go again.

Not much bang for the buck

by MrBill on 7/15/19River City Casino & Hotel - St Louis

Venue was great, staff very accommodating, but the band was only there for the money, they didn’t start on time, only played three good songs, after the last song they basically ran off the stage, it was like they couldn’t wait to get the hell out of there. I have tickets for another concert there in October, hope The Little River Band is better than this one or I’ll have to rethink coming back here for a concert.

    Not good, sorry to say

by lilbeth on 3/13/18Skagit Valley Casino Pacific Showroom - Bow

I really like this venue and have seen some good shows there. Unfortunately, Survivor was not one of them. They were not engaged with the audience, not speaking to us except to exhort us to clap more. No band members introduced. Sound was rather poor, especially with the lead guitar cutting off. Some songs were ok, but they didn't play "Is This Love" which is my absolute favorite Survivor song, so a great disappointment not to hear. They played exactly one hour. I am used to casino shows being short, but this one takes the cake. Walking out, I passed a woman still sitting who was saying "Is that it?" That about sums it up.

    Average!

by Zbkb on 3/13/18Skagit Valley Casino Pacific Showroom - Bow

Like going to a bar and listening to a band playing Survivor songs! And it only lasted 50 minutes and didn't play all the songs. No introduces at all! Not worth the $
