    ...welp

by chandra on 9/29/21Great Lawn at Central Park - New York

for 60,000 attendees there were 4-5 employees at each of the 2 gates checking vaccination status. you can imagine that 60,000 5-4 employees cannot screen 60,000 attendees quickly. we waited in line 2+ hours, finally were approaching the final checkpoint (metal detectors) when the show was canceled. welp!

Ticketmaster never provided me with my tickets

    by JEN on 9/13/21

I have sent Ticketmaster at least 40 emails (because it is not possible to speak to a human being), because despite charging my credit card on August 5th, as of the day of the concert, the tickets were not provided to me. In my account, it still indicates that Ticketmaster sent them via US Mail to be received before the event. The event was over 2 weeks ago, and I still don't have tickets. I have notified my credit card company about the FRAUD!!!!! Oh, and this is the second review I have tried to leave on the matter. Ticketmaster didn't post the first one.

    Disappointing

by Goldy1088 on 9/10/21Great Lawn at Central Park - New York

Paid for VIP tickets and definitely did not get money's worth with the cancellation midway through the show.

    Longest Wait Ever!!!

by E. D. on 9/1/21Great Lawn at Central Park - New York

Never has it or never should it take so long to enter a venue! I began my wait on Fifth Ave 77th St. at 4:00 pm on Saturday, August 21st, and finally entered the Great Lawn in Central Park NYC at 7:10 pm. That’s OVER 3 hours later & the gates had already opened at 3:00 pm!!! Although all event workers were very polite, there definitely were not enough of them. What had the makings of turning into a fabulous, one-of-a-kind show turned into a very unorganized disaster.

    AWFUL

by Lo on 8/31/21Great Lawn at Central Park - New York

Waited 2 hours to get in... And once we finally did,, there was ZERO security, or even a simple metal detector. So, when a large mass of us were held in an exit-less valley, I was legitimately concerned for my life. Turns out the event was being cancelled due to weather. Weather everyone knew about days in advance. Weather the event-planners must've seen coming. Weather we were all stuck in as we moped out of the concert. No one in my entire group got to see even the stage. I think this event may have been a conspiracy.

    Awesome until it rained!

by Andy p on 8/31/21Great Lawn at Central Park - New York

Really great experience, at least as much as I got to soak in (until I got soaked) Would love for the event to have a redo! I'll go again!

    4 hours waiting in line

by Christine on 8/30/21Great Lawn at Central Park - New York

I never even got in to see the concert. After waiting in line for 4 hours, the concert was stopped due to thunder. The police presence was completely useless. They were allowing people to cut the line to get in. They did absolutely nothing to stop this. Even after the concert was cancelled, the policeman couldn't even dismantle the gates/railings that enclosed us in the line so that we could exit safely. We had to jump the fences or risk being trampled. So poorly coordinated.

Timely and efficient handling of a refund.

by Anna on 8/29/21Great Lawn at Central Park - New York

We Love NY event. Steps dor refunded well documented, leaving zero room dor interpretation. Very clear messages and guidance. Public Relations the way it should be done. Well executed as well, the partnership with Event Organizer. Congratulations TicketMaster for delivering on our expectations.

    who'll stop the rain?

by bookseller on 8/25/21Great Lawn at Central Park - New York

the feeling of being in the park for a live show was great and the sound was great concert got off to a good start with the NY Phil, Andrea B and Jennife r Hudson raised the bar--I wish Hudson sang more than one song--Santana rocked--Journey was lame, some of the one-song performers stunted the momentum of the show--the talking heads stunted the momentum of the show--LL Kool J rocked, Earth Wind and Fire should have been given time for 3 or 4 songs to r--rebuild momentum--Manilow's medley was silly and his choice of songs was silly and then--they pulled the plug! Very unsatisfying. The performers sounded good but the one or two song sets and the jibber jabber in between just killed momentum. We didn't get much for the $399 tickets and I think ticketmaster's take of another $50 per ticket was a little rubbing salt.

    Ridiculous restrictions

by A. P. on 8/25/21Great Lawn at Central Park - New York

You restricted reusable metal water bottles. Really? You encourage single use plastics. Disgusting.
