About

TV’s favorite hit drama re-imagined for the stage as a parody rock musical!

An uproarious musical comedy parody of HBO’s tentpole drama series. Following the saga of Eddard ‘Ned’ Stark as he battles tap dancing direwolves, an evil inbred prince and a smattering of other characters too hot and raunchy for network television.

Will Ned climb his way to the Iron Throne? Or will he lose his head in the process?

From the creators of Lost: The Musical and the critically acclaimed Once Upon a Time: The Rock Opera, Game of Thrones: The Rock Musical features 12 original songs which will have audiences on their feet with toes tapping and hands clapping… provided they still have both of their hands.

Spoiler alert - this show will have heads rolling... with laughter!

“All Men Must Laugh…A happy smile never left my face.” - BlogCritics.org

“GOT: The Musical is all that and a bag of Hodor” - Film School Rejects

“You can look forward to a Dothraki love song, a full body tap-dancing direwolf, and more than one reference to a certain politician.” – The Hollywood Reporter

"This musical has everything GoT lovers could want and more." - Hello Giggles

This production is independently operated by GOT The Musical, LLC.  It is not sponsored, endorsed or affiliated with HBO or anyone associated with Game of Thrones.

    Fun day for Thrones lovers

by amd2109 on 11/22/17The Theater Center - New York

My mom, husband and I enjoyed this parody a lot - the jokes were funny and for big GOT fans, the insider winks were entertaining. There were several really talented performers as well, and the intimate theater allowed us to engage. The only thing I wish they'd improve is the music to voice sound balance - sometimes it was hard to hear performers, particularly those that were not visibly mic'd. I think we missed several of their good one-liners due to the mixing. But I would recommend this show for any big-time GOT lovers out there!

    Game of Thrones Great Fun!

by delou on 11/10/17The Theater Center - New York

If you're invested into GOT, this will have you rolling in the aisles. All of the songs come from Episode titles..The actors are improv great and there are some powerhouse singers too. The woman who plays Caitlyn Stark Wow! The name has been changed to Shame of Thrones, but don't let that throw you. The late night time is perfect for this kind of fare.

I laughed the whole way through

    by Imabigcheese on 11/10/17Irvine, CA

This very fast paced parody kept me laughing from the moment it started. The characters gave hilarious depictions of favorites from the show, and somehow consolodated most of season one into a single show. it is a little raunchy, but a lot funny and I am still smiling thinking about my favorite parts.

    Brilliant!

by MPLaps on 11/4/17The Theater Center - New York

It was truly such a terrific experience. Every actor was on point with their depiction of the GoT characters and they nailed it each and every time. Even my husband who doesn't watch GoT enjoyed it and he also hates musicals! I would definitely go see this again, without question.

    Awesome show!!

by Newmie39 on 10/31/17The Theater Center - New York

I could not imagine how someone could take a violent show such as Game of Thrones and turn it into a musical. Somehow they managed to not only make it into a musical but also make it funny as hell. While not recommended for children (little too risqué), this musical had a style that kept us laughing! Highly recommended for any fan of GoT!

Would have been better without the music.

by Narual on 10/31/17The Theater Center - New York

The show was amusing, but the songs were more distracting than funny. The theater wasn't miced well, so it was difficult to understand when anyone besides the 2-3 miced actors were facing away, especially while singing. I'd recommend it to a friend if it was maybe $25 but at $60+ (and then $3 for a half sized can of soda or $9+ for booze), I'd tell them to go see one of the dozens of other competing shows instead. Desperate Measures and Puffs in particular were much funnier and less expensive.
