Raised in Michigan and now based in Nashville, GRAMMY Award-winning Billy Strings is known as one of music's most compelling artists. Most recently, he unveiled "California Sober," a collaboration with legendary artist Willie Nelson--his first release since partnering with venerable label, Reprise Records.
The collaboration follows Strings' most recent full-length album, Me/And/Dad, which was released last fall and features Strings alongside with his dad, Terry Barber. The product of a longtime dream, the record features new versions of fourteen bluegrass and country classics that the two have been playing together since Strings was a young child.
Since his 2017 debut, Strings has been awarded Best Bluegrass Album at the 63rd GRAMMY Awards, Artist of the Year at the 2022 and 2023 Americana Music Awards, Entertainer of the Year at the 2021, 2022 and 2023 International Bluegrass Music Awards, Best New Headliner at the 2022 Pollstar Awards, Breakthrough Artist of the Pandemic at the 2021 Pollstar Awards and has performed on the 64th GRAMMY Awards, "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," PBS' "Austin City Limits," "Bluegrass Underground" as well as countless sold-out tour dates world-wide.
Billy Strings is nominated for three awards at the 66th Annual GRAMMY Awards: Best Bluegrass Album (Me/And/Dad), Best American Roots Song ("California Sober" feat. Willie Nelson) and Best Country Duo/Group Performance ("High Note" with Dierks Bentley).

Thunder! What more is there to say about once in a lifetime show.
A great evening of music from a phenomenal picker and his band. Hope to see them again soon.
Amazing show. Tickets were way too expensive but that seems to be the norm with everyone reselling.
One of the best shows I’ve attended. We didn’t stop dancing the whole time. That’s my measure of a great show. We love Billy Strings!
A friend and I saw Billy recently at the Enmark Arena in Savannah, GA. The venue is outstanding, with solid acoustics. Thee beer was pricey ($17.00 for a large can of Yuengling), but that's okay - I don't come to these things to save money, but to spend it. $90.00 for two t-shirts and a beer coozie. Billy and the crew played a solid set with one break. He had a fiddle player too, always a nice touch. I was hoping for more 3-4 minute Billy songs with 3 part harmony. Instead, we were treated to extended jam sessions, vocal-free. The crowd was eclectic with a lot of young (under 30) folks, who enjoyed this musical iteration. It felt a lot like a Grateful Dead concert. The smell of pot was in the air. All in all, a great time in a great town.
Great show as always ! Thanks Billy and his band , they are awesome
Billy Strings at Enmarket Arena in Savannah GA. Incredible show. Don’t miss this. He is the NEXT Great thing now. BMFS. He and the band play together to perfection. I would go again immediately!! Bill was a Thrill!!
Billy Strings and his band played some amazing bluegrass as well as some of his original songs. Sometimes though he would drift off into some kind of jazz, rock super jam leaving his band to sit and watch. While the effects pedal board made some cool sounds come out of his vintage Martins, I'd rather have them sound like C.F. Martin intended them to sound.
So much energy. “Running on Empty” was an outstanding cover. What a great time
