Now on Broadway through January 1 only! SOMETHING ROTTEN! is the hilarious Broadway smash from the director of ALADDIN and the co-director of THE BOOK OF MORMON!
This mash-up of 16th Century Shakespeare and 21st Century Broadway tells the story of brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom, two playwrights stuck in the shadow of that Renaissance rockstar Will Shakespeare. When a soothsayer foretells the next big thing in theatre, the Bottom Brothers set out to write the world's very first MUSICAL! With the most singing, the most dancing, and the most gut-busting laughs on Broadway, it's something wonderful... something for everyone... It's SOMETHING ROTTEN!, "the funniest musical comedy in at least 400 years" (Time Out New York)!

I was so happy to be there for the final performance. The audience was so engaged. What an amazing performance
Very well written - loved the references to other plays. Excellent vocals. Opening number was excellent and set the tone for the rest of the show. Costumes enhance the characters and story.
I saw this show 6 times and loved every second! The dancing was joyous! The music stays with you! Most fun on Broadway!
The show was great. Every penny worth spent. Even buying from ticket master was easy with no issues. Balcony seating wasn't as bad given that we were on budget so we're trying to get cheaper tickets. Show was totally worth it!
Something Rotten was excellent, sad to hear that it was closing!
I am a huge Broadway fan and was excited to see this show. The first act was fun, upbeat, and funny. Unfortunately, the second act was the complete opposite. It completely bored us and we both found ourselves waiting for it to end. I was very bummed about that, and just cannot recommend it to anyone because the last half was so bad.
Thoroughly enjoyable and lighthearted. VERY well acted and an excellent production. They've taken the show on the road and you should see when it's coming to a city near you. Well worth the bway ticket price
I thought this show was absolutely fantastic. It was hilarious and very entertaining. I especially enjoyed all the little hints towards other Broadway shows that are currently playing and are not currently playing. It was a super fun afternoon.
Quick moving as well as quick witted and very entertaining !
