He's so talented, you wouldn't believe how good he is based on his other pursuits

February 26, 2017 at the Birchmere with David Duchovny was such a joy to attend! Though not feeling well, and having a bout of laryngitis, he gave of his time to make the fans feel special in the Sound Check Experience. Musically, the band of Berklee musicians was excellent!!!!!! Great sound, though the volume was too loud, especially with David's illness. Vocally, David is not a typically trained singer, but his warm personality and heartfelt songs (all written by him) overshadowed that. The venue was great, especially because we were seated and not standing the entire concert. Food was good, service was outstanding, audience, for the most part, was respectful. Having waited over 20 years to see David Duchovny in person, this evening was more than worth the wait!

His show was incredible! He is so talented! His band was good!

The Birchmere is a small, intimate venue that is not the standard for a rock-type concert, but that was part of what made is so great. It was small, with very limited seating. Even though I sat almost on the stage, it didn't look as if there were many, if any, bad seats in the place. Getting see David Duchovny perform, especially in such a space, is not something I'll soon forget. What he lacks in musical ability he makes up for in performance. He's funny, engaging, friendly, and actually very talented. He's self-aware enough to know that most people at his shows are fans of his TV and movie work, and he simply wants to play music. His entire band was talented, and overall, I had a complete blast. I would see him again in a heartbeat.

My husband and I both enjoyed David Duchovny's performance, songs and energy (despite having a sore throat!) Really involved the audience and the band was fantastic! We would go see him again!

Love David as an actor now a big fan of his singing , couldn't have asked for a better show .

As a older person I enjoyed the show, just wish I could hear the singer voice over the music. I love the fact that people come to listen and enjoyed the atmosphere the band created. David used his considerable acting skills to make sure everyone had a feeling of being included especially the women. I wold go to another show.

Not only is he a great actor but also a great musician! I would definitely recommend going to see him. Wish I could see him again!

Good times at the concert. David did 1.5 hour show with best songs from his album, a bunch of covers like Bowie, Patti Smith, The Velvet Underground etc, also played some new stuff from the upcoming album. Great show, great performance by David and his band. All great musicians. I will reccomend this show and I will go one more time whenever they are in town. Go check it out!

David Duchovny was amazing. He did a great job and you could tell he was really enjoying it. He sang songs from his album as well as new songs and covers. David interacted with the crowd even coming down to shake hands and go through the crowd.
