    Very Good

    by DCinIndy on 2/24/24

I grew up in the late 70's and early 80's when hair metal was the thing. I spent a number of years in the military and seen many shows in many countries. Somehow I didn't know a lot of Mr. Big songs. I must admit I have been listening to them ever since the concert. Great band

    MR BIG AT LUDLOWS GARAGE

by RD on 2/2/24Ludlow Garage Cincinnati - Cincinnati

GREAT SHOW AT A VERY INTIMATE VENUE - SOME DOWNSIDES THOUGH 1) PARKING IS HORRENDOUS - THERE IS A LOT UP THE STREET ACROSS FROM THE VENUE KIND OF HIDDEN FROM STREET VIEW WHERE WE GOT LUCKY AND FOUND A SPOT AFTER DRIVING AROUND FOR A GOOD 30-45 MINS - 2) OTHER DOWNSIDE IF YOU ARE FURTHER BACK THAN THE FIRST 5-6 ROWS PLAN ON STANDING THE ENTIRE SHOW AS IT IS HARD TO GET A CLEAR VIEW OF THE STAGE - THE BAND WAS AMAZING AS EXPECTED

    Great to see them again!

by Mickie on 1/30/24Ludlow Garage Cincinnati - Cincinnati

With the exception of last week at the Rokisland festival, I hadn't seen Mr Big since the 90s (tho I had seen Eric's solo show a few times). They were every bit as great as I expected. Great musicians and obviously having a blast, too. I already have my ticket for their return show at the same venue in May. If they come near you, don't miss them!

    Mr. Big Still Has It!

by AA on 1/29/24Ludlow Garage Cincinnati - Cincinnati

This was my 3rd time seeing Mr. Big, and they didn't disappoint. These are true professional musicians, always spot on, technically proficient, and musical above all. Unlike many musicians with this much mileage under their belts, they step onto the stage sober, fit and ultra-tight. They also don't let small venues spoil their energy and mood. I've seen other musicians treat a smaller stage like a rag, drunk and disgruntled, but not Mr. Big. The venue was very nice, clean and orderly. The seating was not the best as there was no elevation to the rows of chairs, so it was difficult to see the stage through the audience in front. The sound was great, though, and not overly loud at about 90db halfway back from the stage. Thumbs up to the sound engineers who managed to create separation and definition among every instrument and vocal mic. This was one of the best mixes I've ever heard regardless of band/venue. I hope this is not truly a farewell tour, just a pause where Mr. Big potentially releases a new album and keeps the music flowing. Thanks for a great show all the memories.

    Don't miss this show!

by Ratz on 1/29/24Ludlow Garage Cincinnati - Cincinnati

What a great night of rock n roll! The band sounds fantastic! It's hit after hit and the crowd stayed engaged the whole show. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

    A good but cold show

by MrBigFan on 1/29/24Ludlow Garage Cincinnati - Cincinnati

Mr. Big was amazing. I like seeing shows at the Ludlowe Garage because they are smaller and more intimate. However, i was sitting to the far left of the stage next to an air conditioning vent. Once the show started, they started pumping that air conditioning and i became so cold i could not even stand up because the cold made my joints very stiff. My friend who was with me was also extremely cold. When we left, we walked towards the exit and the closer the exit it felt warmer. I think there should be a warning on those seats when sold that it might be cold.

    Mr. Big still delivers!

by HY1911 on 8/6/17B.B. King Blues Club & Grill - New York

Mr. Big still sounds fantastic after all these years. It was great to see Pat Torpey come out to play on a few songs as well as sing background vocals. Everybody else is in top form, including new drummer Matt Starr. The BB King Blues Club is a great venue and the sound was excellent.

Mr Big defies gravity at the Rose in Pasadena

by TonySmithBass on 7/1/17The Rose - Pasadena

Mr Big launched a small US tour before the release of their latest album, Defying Gravity, which was recorded in only six days. Playing crowd favorites and new songs, every moment was jaw dropping. Paul Gilbert and Billy Sheehan proved again why they are so copied and emulated as musicians. Drums were covered mostly by Matt Starr, who has been a welcomed addition to the band. Pat Torpey (the original drummer) was also on stage playing drums and singing. Despite suffering from Parkinson's disease, Pat still rocked all night with a smile on his face and the band showed how much the love, appreciate and still need him on stage with them. Eric's voice still cuts through the entire mix. Does this guy even age? Speaking of the mix... Wow! The tour crew had the best sound in house sound I've ever experienced at an indoor venue! I didn't have to wear my ear plugs and I could hear everything clearly with lots of low end. The only complaint I have is with the venue and lack of air conditioning. The portable units they have don't seem to be able to keep up with a packed house. On a minor note, you had to have a VIP sticker to see the band, who normally love to hang out after the show and talk with their fans (especially Billy Sheehan). The food and drinks were great. And the fans... I met several other Mr Big fans while I was there, thanks to posts on social media before and after the concert. Mr Big definitely found a way to defy gravity!!!

    Awesome!

by Zitdlr on 6/22/17B.B. King Blues Club & Grill - New York

Mr Big has been on my bucket list of must-watch artists for a long time. I'm glad I got to watch them in a small venue because THEY WERE FRICKIN' AWESOME! The Martin-Gilbert-Sheehan lineup is the only way to watch Mr. Big. Paul Gilbert Green Tinted Sixties Mind...my all-time fave guitar intro. Highly recommend!
