This was my 3rd time seeing Mr. Big, and they didn't disappoint. These are true professional musicians, always spot on, technically proficient, and musical above all. Unlike many musicians with this much mileage under their belts, they step onto the stage sober, fit and ultra-tight. They also don't let small venues spoil their energy and mood. I've seen other musicians treat a smaller stage like a rag, drunk and disgruntled, but not Mr. Big.
The venue was very nice, clean and orderly. The seating was not the best as there was no elevation to the rows of chairs, so it was difficult to see the stage through the audience in front. The sound was great, though, and not overly loud at about 90db halfway back from the stage. Thumbs up to the sound engineers who managed to create separation and definition among every instrument and vocal mic. This was one of the best mixes I've ever heard regardless of band/venue.
I hope this is not truly a farewell tour, just a pause where Mr. Big potentially releases a new album and keeps the music flowing. Thanks for a great show all the memories.
