Lennon was very weak! Not worth it! His vocals were iffy at best. Loved the life history that was the basis for the songs at the time.

    Lennon brought back great moments!!!

by Lifer1968 on 11/22/16Fox Performing Arts Center - Riverside

The overall production was superb! The talent was amazing! Daniel Taylor did an excellent job, felt like John Lennon was on stage and in the theatre. Great storytelling! I was surprised Give Peace a Chance was not part of the show.

    Lennon remembered

by Bnkittens on 3/11/15Union Square Theatre - New York

Two men on a dark stage with a piano - and yet you feel the entirety of John Lennons life story played out before you. I was sceptical for only a few moments before being drawn in. For Lennon fans, this show is a treat.

Learned a lot about the great John Lennon and his music. John R. Waters and Stewart D'Arrietta were excellent performers.

Lennon - Through a Glass Onion was OUSTANDING!!

by ELizz on 1/15/15Union Square Theatre - New York

I am SO GLAD that I purchased tickets for this show. In fact, I purchased several, and family and friends came with me. WE ALL LOVED IT!! The music was just wonderful, the artistry of the two leading musicians/actors was Brilliant. I loved also learning things and thoughts of John Lennon that I didn't really know before. I had a real connection with Mr. Lennon....Besides loving his music & lyrics, I was just 3 blocks away when he was shot outside his home. I was one of the first passersby who ran up to the Gates at the Dakota. I stood there with my boyfriend in disbelief for hours and hours, as tens of thousands came. We all lit candles and sang his beautiful music. When the 'shots' rang out in the theatre, it brought me right back to that night I will never ever forget. Imagine....

No gimmicks or flashy scenery, just two men on stage...different from what I've seen, but really enjoyed it. Good music and Lennon life story telling. Ended quickly or so it seemed because it went for 90 minutes with no intermission! Guess I just wanted to hear more!

John Lennon: Through a Glass Onion was terrific!

by WantaghStav on 1/14/15Union Square Theatre - New York

It felt like John Lennon's ghost was recounting what was going through his mind when he was writing his songs. The performance was moving, while being somewhat dark. You sometimes forget that these famous personas are actually people and this performance helped remind me of that. Terrific performance , I definitely felt like I was in John Lennon's presence.
