good weekend overall,great venue but as I stated last year the parking could be done better every year there are tons of empty places next to and across from the stadium. I would pay more for a pass like they do in Canton/Massilon
I recommend to any football fans.....please take the time and money to go to the OHSAA football championships! These young men give everything they have for their school, community, and family and leave it all out there on the field! Do yourself a favor and make the trip next year!
bought seats because we were not sure what we could buy locally, seats were 41 yardline, great location
The best place to have the OHSAA playoffs hands down. Great seats! Great price and an awesome atmosphere. Can't wait until next year!
The games were great...fun to watch. We have been doing this for 25+ years. THE Ohio State University seems to think they are doing everyone a huge favor by hosting this event. The truth is, everyone in attendance pays good money (for everything) to be there, and deserve to be treated with more respect. The stadium personnel reflected OSU's arrogance, and didn't miss many chances to be rude, or to hassle as many people as they could. There is something special about being a jerk just because you can. The logistical planning was terrible...having to show 4 people your ticket just to get your seat, then having to show the same ticket to the same people repeatedly, just to go anywhere, was issue #1, among several...traffic, closed parking lots, etc.
The all session pass is worth every penny. Great event. Note to the OHSAA keep these games in Columbus! Will purchase my 2016 pass as soon as they become available.
Everything was pretty good.Was worth the extra price for club level. The food however was not good,seemed like left overs..My biggest gripe is the parking.All the close parking required a pass,which is ok but some of those lots had a lot of empty spaces,why couldnt I park there? A pass should be offered with the package!! I would gladly pay for it. Stark County did a much better job on parking.. I know OSU doesn't own a lot of the lots,but work out a deal to make parking more convenient..
A group of us have been traveling to the high school football finals for 20 years. This may have been the last. Everything about the finals seemed to be exaggerated including the attendance. The reports of how well they were attended were completely exaggerated. The big screen was very very nice. The seating views are very good. The expense of food and time between games was outrageous. We were also late for all three early games because of traffic situations. First time in 20 years to be late for 1st games. I would have thought due to being used to dealing with 100000 people at games, Columbus would have no trouble with 5,000. I was wrong. Maybe they figured it wasn't worth the effort whereas I believe Massilon and Canton must take a lot of pride in hosting these events. Too much money for the working man for the weekend. Television here we come and that is a shame for high school football enthusiasts.
Event was awesome! Sad that my team didn't win, but so glad that I went.
Saw a good HS football game while getting to see the horseshoe for the first time. Very cool to get to see the stadium for a cheap price. Also good opportunity to scope out things if I go to a Buckeye game or bigger event in the future
