Love the play, great performances, lively, energetic, good story. So sorry to see it close. All five of us agreed that this show should still be running.

    Big Fish was Amazing!

by janegoose on 1/7/14Neil Simon Theatre - New York

This was one of the best musicals I have ever seen. Creative, fun, magical, fantastic!! So very upset that it closed - I have no idea why Broadway would not give it a chance. Really a shame.

    Big Fish was amazing!!!

by Lulubell4 on 1/3/14Neil Simon Theatre - New York

The play was amazing....it stuck true to the movie which was the great part about it! I usually get teary eyed at the end of the movie and the same held true for the play. I thought the actor playing Edward Bloom was AMAZING! Sad it wasn't playing longer....would have gone to see it AGAIN!

The musical that touches your heart

by seanchoe on 1/2/14Neil Simon Theatre - New York

It was so much better than I expected. The music is great, stage was awesome, but the best thing of this musical is Norbert Leo Butz's acting. You won't be able to help crying.

    best story becomes best musical

by Orkie on 1/2/14Neil Simon Theatre - New York

My favorite movie transformed into my favorite musical. Though it had a fairly short run on The Great White Way, I was able to see it three times. When it finds a new home, I will travel to see it again and again.

Honestly, one of the most exciting and heartfelt plays I have ever seen. The entire theater was in tears by the end and the experience was one that will stay with me for a long time. The tickets were a gift for my sister, but the amazing bonding affair was a precious gift for myself. Amazing cast, AMAZING visuals, beautiful theater...who could ask for more. The only thing left to say is, "Thank you".

Big Fish was what Broadway is all about. Wonderful production, great cast, very emotional. Glad I got a chance to see it before it went off.

    Big Fish

by rdew on 1/1/14Neil Simon Theatre - New York

We were at the matinee of the last day of performances. The sets and lighting were truly fantastic. The performers were all great, but Norbert Leo Butts and Kate Baldwin were classy and outstanding. Our group of 6, of all different ages, all cried and laughed, and had a wonderful afternoon at the theater. We are so shocked this closed early. It was a great show with great performers. We expected it to be sub par, as it was closing early, but we were so enthusiastic, we checked to see if there were any seats left for the final show (there weren't). Good luck on your next adventures, performers!

    Big Fish shouldn't be fried!

by Excelnt on 1/1/14Neil Simon Theatre - New York

Absolutely excellent. Great story. Touching. Funny and sad all in one. Don't listen to the big critics... This one should have remained on Broadway.
