Simply splendid. Runner Runner is know one of our favorite bands. Every Avenue was amazing as always. The White Tie Affair had some sweet tricks up their sleeves. =]

    The White Tie Affair Rocks!!!

by J5T3 on 12/2/09House of Blues Chicago - Chicago

TWTA puts on a great show - from the first song to the last, very entertaining. Loved the interaction with the audience - glow sticks were a big hit. Band members were very courteous during the meet and greet. Especially liked the drummer - very talented & cute. Looking forward to the next CD and tour!!!

    WOW!

by travelingtalentshow on 11/30/09House of Blues Chicago - Chicago

This concert was great! i loved the small setting of the house of blues, and how close you were to the band. Runner Runner (who i had never heard of) started out the show, and they were pretty good. Stereo Skyline was on next and i really did not care for them, but it wasnt that big of a deal. Every Avenue was third and they were very energetic. the only problem was you couldnt always here the singer, but overall it was great. then of course The White Tie Affair was on and it was absolutely phenomonal! they really knew how to put on a show and get the crowd involved. they also sounded spectacular live, unlike a lot of bands, it was overall a really really enjoyable show (and especially for only $13). i would go again in a heart beat! the only down side was waiting between bands for the sets to get switched

The White Tie Affair is sooo good live!

by Kristi7 on 11/30/09House of Blues Chicago - Chicago

This band is AMAZING live. It's always frustrating when you like a band on their album, but then when you hear them live they sound terrible. This is not the case with The White Tie Affair. They interact with the crowd, and always keep you on your feet. The only thing that I did not like so much was that the opening bands played a lot of songs. Runner Runner, Stereo Skyline, and Every Avenue were good, but it would have been better if they had played only 3 or 4 songs. Other than that, the concert was fantastic!

the white tie affair cannot be missed!

by knletri on 11/30/09House of Blues Chicago - Chicago

This show was amazing. The energy was exhilarating, Chris's voice is insane and he puts so much heart and soul into his performance. The rest of the band members also put their all into the performance and this is what makes the show as great as it was. They engage the crowd in every song and play every minute with super high energy.

Four bands, a million glow sticks, talent show and personal serande in the "pit" = amazing show!! Ultimate finish was TWTA!! The band is so fun, energetic and creative. Chris did an acoustic version of Gaga's "Papparazzi". AWESOME!!

White Tie Affair = Not Good...Yet

by QuicksandPete on 11/29/09House of Blues Chicago - Chicago

This band sounds exactly like the other 3 bands they played with (Runner Runner, Stero Skyline, and Every Avenue). Not only were the songs all the same but the band members all looked and dressed alike. They also said the same things, repeatedly, almost word for word to the crowd. They all really were unbelievable carbon copies. I will say that I am not a 15 year old girl and that this was the target demographic for the show and was a big hit with them. They all absolutley loved it. They highlight of the show was when the White Tie Affair covered Journey. They absolutley brought the house down. All the parents in the back of the club were really into it. This leads me to believe that WTA has the potential to become a household name, because they really are great performer. They will really have to imporve their music first, however, because right now it is terrible. The White Tie Affair is built on a strong lead singer who can hit a broad range of notes, and an upbeat stage presence. The band has pretty much no musical talent.
